So you're saying Terry is better than Nash. Hogwash, the reason the Mavs are better is not what they've lost (Nash) but what they've gained (Dampier, development of Howard and Harris who ironically would have been much better off with Nash as his tutor instead of Terry). Yet keep telling yourself your team is better cause your owner wouldn't pony up the cash to keep a great player. I know it's just sour grapes.

Nash doesn't have enough killer instinct? I've seen him put the dagger in a lot of team's hearts over the past couple of seasons.

Lots of apparent Nash hate going on in here.

Jealous cause they don't have a PG who holds a candle to him, that's all.

I sincerely hope everyone out there is watching the Laker/Spurs game right now. You've got a classic brewing.

Bryant is defintely evolving game by game (finally).

I see Dirk's name all over the place in regards to MVP discussion.

I can see Dirk winning it this year but i'm putting my money on Nash. What he is doing is amazing....the numbers don't tell the whole story with Nash. He is the Suns system. Their style needs a facilitator like Nash. Over the last three years you can see how much more efficient he is now than Nash of the Mav's.....

We'll see how the season plays out but it's Nash's MVP award to lose IMO.

How doesn't he make them better? Diaw couldn't get off the bench in Atlanta for pete's sake. Raja Bell before Nash was a bench player at best. I mean I could go on and on. Quite simply Nash makes the game easier for them allowing them to be better and more successful than they would be anywhere else. It's proven, plus men who know more about basketball than any of us on these boards have said so. But you live in your dream world where Nash doesn't make players around him better.

P.S. In that dream world do all the women look like Jessica Alba and it prolly rains kool aid there too, huh?

Actually D'Antoni's system needs a player like Steve Nash. If it was so easy to run this kind of system why doesn't everyone do it? Why don't teams just start converting their pgs in 20 and 11 men shooting above 50%? You say that Nash benefits from the system, yet discredit the system Dallas is using where they place more emphasis on defense, plus its not like Dallas didn't do anything to replace Nash. If I'm not mistaken they brought in guys like Stackhouse, Jamison, and Walker and eventually traded them for their current core so you can't compare a Nash less Dallas with the team they have now.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

With regards to this thread, I haven't seen anyone say Nowitzki is not one of the top players in the league.

All i know is that Dallas became a better team when Nash left. Dispute that all you want but they did.

Plus I did forget to add that they also added a coach who brought a different mindset to that team.
