I don't even think it would be a series if Spurs and Pistons played again. Parker and Duncan would have their way with Detroit and Duncan has improved tremendously on D in just the 2 years that they played last. Not a good matchup at all IMO. Of course, just my opinion tho.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves. Both Detroit and San Antonio have a lot of work to do before we can start talking NBA Finals, not to mention that's disrespectful to the fans of the other teams still playing, and continuing would only provide fertile ground for a flame war.

of the teams that are left i think phoenix, cleveland, and utah have the best chance to beat the spurs.
Not CLE unless SA lost 2 of thier best players like Manu, Parker, Finley, or Bowen. I don't think CLE is that experience even against DET. UTA, I don't know. If Kerilinko only had a nervous breakdown against HOU, what do think will happen to him when they face SA? Heart attack or stroke maybe?

PHX on the other hand has learned a lot from SA because of thier classic matchups in the past and because of thier caliber, they end up studying each other a lot.

I know PHX didn't get to do the things thay normally do, but I thought they still executed pretty well for the most part.

If my Cavs could shoot half as well, we'd be unstoppable.

That wasn't the point of it. The point was that the same stuff you said could be turned and still not mean anything. There's absolutely nothing to back any of it up. It's just *** talk. But no I'm not biased, I predicted the Pistons would lose in the Finals. That was based on a Dallas/Detroit matchup but still.

You can say the same thing about 80% of the talk on this forum. Nothing **** talk about it because honestly I don't care. I'm just giving an opinion. But if it makes you happy.......Detroit had a hard time with Miami's interior D last year. With Elson playing so well, I think SA's interior D this year is better than Miami's last year. C-Webber will help and hurt. Sure he is day to Ben Wallace's night on the offensive end, but Wallace is still arguably one of the best rebounder/hustle players in the NBA and against SA that will hurt them because they rebound so well also.

Like psyblast said though, kinda pointless to discuss now. Dont jump all over me for givng an opinion though.

I dislike complaining about officiating but i'm guess it could only improve after the bs I saw today.

And Amare, make a freakin' layup!

After watching the Spurs-Suns yesterday, I have to wonder about coaching and psychology. Whether the calls were going his way or not, to see Mike D'Antoni going as crazy as he seemed to be going on the sideline tells me he doesn't think his team can beat San Antonio. If he feels he has to fight for calls before going into the locker room and then still be fighting over the same call coming out of it, that tells me he thinks he needs all the help his team can get. I can't help but wonder if all this posturing doesn't inspire too much confidence in his players. Objecting to calls is one thing and it's needed to let your players know you're fighting for them, but objecting to calls for an extended period of time seems to push things into the realm of a lack of confidence in the team.

I love the fact that Parker was on the ground in pain after the Nash collision while Nash was up and walking to the bench wanting to get back in the game.

Just another reason for me to hate the Spurs and love Nash.
