    Re: Kobe Bryant\'s Mentality

Pad, You could say the same about your posts. You come out with the anti-Kobe crap like Madskillz brings the Kobe love. If someone were to bring down MJ, you'd be all over it, like Madskillz for Kobe. You don't know Kobe was throwing up shots because he wanted a record unless you got in his jock, hell, he's been on fire the last 6 games, you would want him to shoot as often as possible I would think. When he was posting almost a triple double average earlier this season he probably wasn't shooting enough. And MJ, who's sack you always ride put up shooting games in the 40's many many times. So stop being a hypocrite.

Calling a person an "idiot" for his viewpoint, no matter how misguided is classless, IMHO. If you've got something to say, it'd be better if it was said with some tact at the very least.

Anyways we're all basketball fans and there's no reason to get pushy in here. People are allowed to love basketball players and it's a given that this will affect what they say in their posts.

It's all good, Alykhan. Neo and Skillz are always getting on me for dissing Kobe. The fact of the matter, and everyone knows it except these guys, is that Kobe took 41 shots last night to simply get his points and it is OBVIOUS. I was not insulting anyone's viewpoint. I was simply saying that whenever I make a post, one of these guys always starts riding Kobe's cack sack and why? I just wish these guys would stop posting in my threads because they always say the same thing. Yes, Jordan had plenty of nights where he shot 40+ shots. BUT, HE DIDN't HAVE THE MOST DOMINANT CENTER IN THE WORLD ON HIS DAMN TEAM!!! And, even if he DID, if he were in Kobe's situation, he would've kept feeding Shaq because the Spurs starting center is OUT and Kobe was being guarded by the best DAMN DEFENDER IN THE LEAGUE!!! Let's be realistic fellas! I admit that Jordan had plenty of bad games but he DID NOT PLAY FOR INDIVIDUAL ACCOLADES AND KOBE DOES, PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!! JUST ADMIT IT!! i dont care how hot Kobe has been. When your starting center is being guarded by a power forward and has a ridiculous mismatch and you are being guarded by Bruce Bowen, you should PASS THE DAMN BALL INTO YOUR DAMN BIG MAN! SHAQ SHOULD HAVE TAKEN 40 SHOTS AND KOBE SHOULD'VE TAKEN 20!!! Kobe has an ego the size of Texas and that will be his downfall. He is always going for these ridiculous individual records instead of going for the win. That is my point. He has an unbelievable amount of talent but he is not using it to its fullest potential and he might never do that because he is so interested in scoring points and being Mr. Offense. I am not even gonna get into the fact that Tony Parker made him look silly all night on the defensive end. But the point is that Kobe is an individual player and that is what separates Jordan from himself.

MJ was only in it for the accolades. You heard it here folks. After he did everything he thought he could do he tried to earn accolades in baseball but sucked badly and came back so he could win more accolades. It's a straight and simple fact staring you in the face. I can do it to, Padgoi, see?

By the by "What's Love?" Quitting the game you "love" twice only to remember you don't have enough accolades.

i just wanted to point out that yes kobe shouldn't have forced up so many shots, and he does of the most dominant center in the world on his team, but even the best have bad days, and shaq was having a bad day. its not everyday where u see shaq shoot under 50%. along wiht shaq, the rest of the team couldn't but a shot, so i think kobe tried to make up for it, but as we all saw, 41 shots will not make up a team's bad game
