    I don't really fault him.

I fault the media, and therfore associate him, being "bad", because of the overhyping BS the media tends to push upon him.

    I guess its just reality.

i really think he can be one of the best, but if he honestly wants the title of the best, he'll have to prove it along side the worst and build up.

Stu Lantz(sp?) and that southerland dude need to get off the Lakers Balls ASAP. It's saddening trying to watch a full laker game on league pass.

Real Life "Bad Laker D" = Their opinions "Extremely good luck by other team"

Real Life "Good offense by other team"- Their opinions "Defensive lapse in their mindset"

They can't OUTRIGHT give props to the other team or talk some SH** about the bad play of the lakers. Their always associating the mistakes and good plays of the other teams with luck, and terrible defense.

Why can't you say, there just better, or they played better, or they were there on time and executed the play well with good laker D.

I'm sure other teams commentators do this, but with the LA popularity around the world, and kobe Bryant, I wanna see 7 foot white guys get schooled by Shaq.

it's hard to not notice their extreme biasm.

    More BS....

The Media didnt help Kobe average 30 a game. The Media didnt give Kobe his 3 rings. So stop with that media overhype BS. If a guy averages 30 and gets 3 rings, he deserves the hype. They would do the same for TMAC or Iverson if they had championships.

Also, ALL local commentators are homers and cheer for their home team. I watch nearly every Laker game on League Pass and Stu Lantz is as quick to criticize the team as anybody else. You are clearly biased.

      Re: All Kobe Talk.....

How many teams/players do you know of that say that the other team/player is better than them? Who do you know will admit that? I didn't see the Kings admit that when the Lakers beat them in a 7 game series. They came right out and blamed the officals and said that they are still the better team, when all they got was the Pacific Division banner. Woohoo!! Party time!!!

Well, you know what I mean. You never want to say that they're the ones that beat you. You have to keep your confidence high and just say things like "we didn't to our potential" or "it was an off night" or something like that.

I don't know where I am going with this, so I'll just stop.

Im sorry Wally, that was the dumbest post ever. Stu and Paul are somewhat biased..but compared to other announcers like...the CELTICS or CLIPPERS or BULLS or KNICKS they don't even compare on a biased level. STU HAS BEEN SAYING THE ENTIRE YEAR THAT THE LAKERS D HAS BEEN HORRENDOUS, seriously WTH are u talking about? When Kobe forces a bad shot or ISN'T passing enuff, STU is always the first to say so. I presonally don't really like Paul...BUT come on....he took over for Chicky baby...thats LIKE trying to REPLACE JORDAN, and hes doing a danm good job.

I'm just saying, Shaq gives teammates like Kobe such a great advantage, you can basicially thank Shaq and credit him for 12 of Kobe's points.

These posts make me really question whether u really watch Laker games at all.

Was Kobe averaging 18 when Shaq was gone earlier this year? NO!

So what makes you think that Kobe "real" points are only 18?

I wont even speculate to what Lebron would average because thats stupid. I have never seen Lebron play against pros so I dont know what he would average. I do know that Kobe has avearged 30 this year.

Finally is "PROWNESS" a word? If so, what does it mean?

Sha, add in there Zero Playoff, finals, or regular season MVPs, and you've got a regular o'l "Scottie Pippen".

He's the "scottie pippen" on that team until Shaq is away from his side, or kobe's scoring 50 ppg.

30 ppg just isnt impressive enough to classify him as anything special. Shaquille demands 4 defenders at all times.

let me remind you of the Suns-lakers game afew nights ago.
Bo outlaw jumped on Shaq's back. A 6-10 260 lbs. BEAST. Shaq didn't seem to notice.

It just so happened Shaq peaked at the right time, almost 6 years into his career, and kobe has been riding along side this whole time.

Thats BS and you know it.

30 ppg game isnt anything special? how many people not named Mike have averaged this in the past 15 years?

People act like anyone could average 30 with Shaq on their team.

                            <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Throw Lebron on the Lakers, and take into account Kobe is not with LA, have lebron starting along side Shaq, and you'll see 35 ppg GURANTEED.

People DONT REALIZE the PROWNESS shaq HAS on the game of basketball.

I could score 4 ppg with Shaq on my side.

I'm only 6-4 and play SG, but i'm sure Shaq could feed me some open jumpers.

I'm just saying, Shaq gives teammates like Kobe such a great advantage, you can basicially thank Shaq and credit him for 12 of Kobe's points.

                            30-12= 18.

                            Thats his real average.

                            Thats the way it goes.

It's LAKER FANs, bandwagon or not (I associate laker fans all the same. They are fans of one team to a DEGREE) that think he's the best. Many think he's better than jordan.

I'm sure they're just 2 or 3 week old NBA fans talking sh** and they're making a bad name for the real hard core guys like Madskillz, but right now in this day in age, its the price you pay for liking such a popular team.

What are u trying to say? Half those bandwagon fans were prolly BULLS fans 4-5 years ago. Sure you can argue that Pippen was BETTER than Jordan...but thats just opinion...so that would make Pippen one of the or even the BEST player ever? How game winners did Pippen hit compared to Jordan?
I think Kobe would be the best player in the league if Shaq wasn't around, yeah I'm Laker fan, have been all my life, I bleed purp and gold..BUT the best players are JUDGED by WINNING you can't be truly great until you win, and thats what Kobe and Shaq have done. I go by what I see.

Hope you weren't calling me a bandwagoner or whatever you call it, because if I wasn't a TRUE fan, I wouldn't be here waisting my time defending the Lakers.
