Yeah, I read that he's been a beast in rehab and is on his way to a full recovery. They think he'll come back very strong this season.

            Via the Woj

If Leon Powe's rehabbing knee checks out with team doctors Tuesday in Cleveland, he will sign a 2-year deal with Cavs, source tells Y! Spts

The deal for Powe would be for the minimum salary, with Cavs holding option for 2010-'11. Powe is expected to return by All-Star break.

With all of the 2-year contracts (Parker, Powe) and Moon's 3rd year not fully guaranteed, it makes me think that LeBron has told the Cavs he will exercise his 1-year option in 2010 and become a free agent in 2011.

Wow, who is playing SG for the Hornets now? They gonna start Collison? Heard he's looked good, but they still only have Mo Pete (who mysteriously hardly played last year) and Devin Brown as the real SGs on the roster.

Rockets sign rookie big man Andersen to deal

                            Posted Aug 12 2009 9:24PM

HOUSTON (AP) -- The Houston Rockets have signed center David Andersen to a multiyear contract to help make up for the loss of Yao Ming.

The Rockets acquired the rights to the 6-foot-11 Andersen in a trade with Atlanta on July 14. Houston scrambled to find a center after announcing in June that Yao was out indefinitely with a hairline fracture in his left foot.

Yao announced last month that he would have surgery to repair the injury, a decision that will likely keep him out all of next season. The seven-time All-Star underwent the procedure the following week.

Andersen was a second-round draft choice of the Hawks in 2002. He has spent his career in his native Australia and in Europe, most recently in the Spanish League with FC Barcelona, where he averaged 11.1 points and 4.1 rebounds last season.

SMH, a team like DEN can afford to lose a guy like Klieza IMO, but NO's cannot afford to lose guys like Butler. They really needed Pargo last year too.

they should have never gotten rid of Pargo. He was huge for them a couple of years ago
