but they have the cap space right now. and if they were gonna do this, they would do it after they signed hedo.

    it makes 0 sense.

They'd be over the cap dude...or near it with not enough to sign hedo.

they are at 48 million now..plus hedo..they'd be at 58 million roughly. right at the cap.

I'd rather have the younger, slightly worse version of Sheed.

          I don't want this Sheed...at all...

Neither do I, but if signing him means keeping him from going to you guys then I am all for it.

Eh, I'd love Villanueva for a year here, but your now stuck with both players for 5 years in salary cap hell.

Enjoy! 90 million for Gordon and Villanueva...think about that just for a second.

I'd rather be stuck with those two for five years than have one more year of LeBron and then watch him split for the Big Apple.

Then again, the NBA is well down the totem pole for me nowadays, so I won't be grinding my teeth about this that much.

Boozer picking up his option was the real catalyst.

                  Thanks again, Carlos.

And on a related note, the Pistons will be signing Hedo, and Andre Miller for 5 years/75 mil a piece and have already called dibs on Bosh, LeBron, and Wade next year.

Paying him 7 mil a year really isn't all that bad. There's a lot of guys around that get way more money than that that aren't anywhere near CV's level. If he had gotten like 5/50, that would have been overpaid. but 5/35 aint that bad.
