Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread
Based on how quickly this whole ordeal is supposed to go, it's a real dangerous move to be bluffing/manipulating like that."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread
Nets: 2 hours with Avery Johnson, Mikhail Prokhorov, & Jay-Z
Knicks: 2.5 hours with James Dolan, Allan Houston, Donnie Walsh, Mike D'Antoni plus about 4 other execs
Heat: Over 4 hours with Pat Riley, Erik Spolestra, Alonzo Mourning & owner Mickey Arison
Clippers: Less than an hour with exec Andy Roesner & GM Neil Olshey
Looks like the Clippers went all out.....Comment

I don't like that they threatened LBJ before they even met him. Something doesn't sound right though. Why would they? The Bulls are the ones that arranged the date and now they threatening. Seems odd.Comment

Agreed, that's gotta be a bogus report. Makes no sense whatsoever."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread
I think Lebron saying he wants this done by Monday is plenty reasonable. He's meeting with teams, and then taking the weekend to decide. Bulls would be stupid to demand it's done by Saturday.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread
From my point, this puts a different perspective. Maybe Chicago is his first choice? I assumed that the Cavs would be his first choice and he would give them every opportunity to give him a reason to stay. The teams going ahead probably had little to no shot unless they wowed him with an idea he could go with.
I think the Bulls could be sitting pretty with this one. If this is true, only Paxson and Reinsdorf can screw this one up.I have more respect for a man who let's me know where he stands, even if he's wrong. Than the one who comes up like an angel and is nothing but a devil. - Malcolm XComment

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread
I agree. But we don't know if this deadline thing is real, and even if it is, as we both know, Steinbrenner told A-Rod if he opted out he wouldn't be resigned to the Yankees. He's still here. I doubt if LeBron says Monday he wants to be a Bull, they're going to say that ship has sailed.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread
Me neither. Truthfully though, I would think it's irrelevant. I don't know why he would schedule meeting order based on interest, or why the last spot would give you an advantage.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it
