But not LeBron? Interesting and not very helpful to their cause if that's the case.

Got my fingers crossed. Looks like this could actually be a possibility.

              Sure, why not?

At this point there is so much lame conjecture I can really care less where anyone ends up.

Re: The Official "Where is LeBron going?" Thread

I'd guess the Knicks were concerned about the talk that Lebron's people didn't want him in New York, and wanted to talk to them about how they could fit in to the picture. Which would explain why they sent the business/numbers people and not the basketball guys. Doubt it would be a last ditch effort by the Knicks if they didn't send at least one of D'Antoni or Walsh.

So it looks like Bulls/Knicks vs Lakers in the 2011 NBA Finals if these two deals go down.

                    Re: MJ's shadow.

His shadow is different to the ones cast by the Lakers or Celtics.

Those two are storied franchises whereas Chicago cant make the same claim. They are the team that once had Michael Jordan in it.

If LBJ where to go to Boston the story would be all about LBJ building upon the Celtic legacy.

If he went to Chicago it would be all about who's shoes he would be trying to fill.

Lebron should stay in Cleveland, and I have a feeling he will. To be honest I think it would be better for Basketball if he did stay put in Cleveland

                            Thank you.

I can't believe signing Amare Stoudemire is enough to entice LeBron to New York. I just wish New York would go away.
After more than eight years on here, I finally figured out how to edit my time zone!

NY isn't a bad situation for him. It will take a year or two, but they have the space and the ability to add a third good if he joins, then build a team. Cleveland would obviously be the best situation for him, but only if they brought in a second star which seems like a remote possibility right now.

Brian Windhorst is also saying that the Knicks are meeting with Lebron again tonight.

He also thinks the Knicks trail the Cavs, Bulls, and Nets though.
