    Re: The LeBron James Thread

The growth in his skill and maturity level has been great to see. I understand that it comes with age, but he has made great strides in both and it showed. His accomplishments put him in the top 10, and he still has plenty of time to continue to improve on his accomplishments.

How great it was for LeBron to show up so big at the end of both game 6 and 7.. Still the NBA's all time leading scorer in close out games and in game 7's. so much for him crumbling in the big games, couldn't be happier for him.

I absolutely hate that he did to the Spurs, but I'm happy that he proved he's the BITW, again. He's the only guy the Spurs lose to and I'm (somewhat) okay with the outcome.

Oh, and I believe he'll be surpassing Bird as the greatest SF of all-time shortly. He hasn't done it yet, though.

My Facebook feed right now, my goodness the ignorance of people.. I don't have a problem who "h@tes" my favorite player but it kills me when these people name off reasons that apply to so many other players, even the players that they love. Or when they simply just don't know what they are talking about.

Here comes more....'oh Lebron is an absolute legend and the greatest ever' all because the guy has won two rings.

And a few posts above - hell yeah I'd take Larry Legend over Bron all day long. Some of us are told not to live in the past, well some of you are just quick to forget.

Sick to my stomach that the Heat won. Sorry if that offends, but that's just how it is for me.

LOL i guess the haters will never stop, come on man, stop and recognize modern day greatness.

He will go down as one of the greatest players of all time and it doesn't matter how many damn rings his won or will win!

Besides those two rings are two more than your team has ever won.

Quite a childish remark there. I'm a Suns fan, whether they've won a chip or not.

And each to their own, I don't think Bron is as great as everyone makes out to be. I just don't see it. I've watched the NBA since the 80's, and he's doing nothing that makes my jaw drop in awe i'm afraid. Just my opinion. If that puts me in the class of a *****, then so be it.

What's weird is that I find what he did with Cleveland way more impressive from an individual standpoint than what he's done with Miami. His all around game has obviously evolved but overall I feel like I was in awe more often when he was wearing a cavs jersey

Yeah he seems to have lost some athleticism (as crazy as that sounds) at the price of size....

I'm sure hell take rings over "awe" plays though
