Deng unfortunately might be packaged. I'd love to keep him BUT if Otis Smith was looking to keep the Magic afloat, Deng would be the main piece I'd ask for from the Bulls. The others (outside of Rose) would obviously be filler pieces to even out the salary numbers.

From the looks of the problem, Amare is the odd man out when you look at the current situation, but at the same time....

The Knicks should've waited to sign Melo in the offseason, they screwed up the depth, even if they get Dwight. They could control the boards and the paint, but other than that... it wouldn't be enough to win anything

Wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you. Just Dwight being politcally correct. 'If that's what God wanted to happen?' In order for Chicago to even pick up the phone they need to know he's wants to go there and stay there long term. It's in his hands to get the Bulls on the phone before it even gets to the other stage.

Dwight might also be trying to force the issue. Negotiating is about playing as many sides as possible to get the best for yourself so that's what he may be doing.

If talks exist, obviously one of the pieces is Noah. A damn shame his production dropped from last year. Another piece Orlando would want without question is Gibson. I'd much prefer to ship Boozer, Noah but keep Asik and Gibson for Dwight though.

Deng for me has to stay. His importance on this team is almost Rose like.

IF...and that's a big IF...a deal was to materialize with the Bulls, I cannot see them gutting the team. Which means, if certain guys are traded then others will have to stay. If Deng is gone, then you'd have to keep Gibson. Those are your two most versatile defenders on the team along with Brewer. If you trade away Asik then you got to keep Noah. One of them has to stay and be the backup center. It's a difficult proposition for the Bulls now because they are legit contenders as is.

NOW if the Bulls was in the Knicks position, I'd give them everybody except Rose. Any combo. No questions asked. Hell, I'd even throw in the coach, GM and even the ball boy.

I can't see any scenario Orlando would accept that would also benefit the Bulls. Noah leaving is obvious, but after that who goes? Boozer and Noah leaving and putting Gibson in the starting lineup would be best for the Bulls, but there's no way in hell Orlando goes for it. Noah and Gibson + a throw in wouldn't be so bad, but again I don't think Orlando would go for it.

These BSPN guys, I just ignore.

I do listen to their podcast though because you get some legit information from there. Especially with Legler doing the Wednesday show. Another good reason is because the Bucher/Hollinger is limited. But there are those days where you get Bucher and it's like, here we go.
