That would be a pretty good scenario for the Knicks.

Kemba not getting alot of love, but the guy just has that WINNING feeling about him in my opinion. I don't think he can be THE guy on a team, but he can be A guy on a team - and an important guy at that. I kind of envision him developing well in a Rondo-esque situation. Where he has veterans around him and can grow into the role instead of being forced into being the star of a team or something crazy like that.

The latest Mocks have Jonas Valanciunas back as the #4 Selection for the Cavs.

According to Chad Ford and Draft Express

Also, as a Celtic Fan. I'm hoping they get one of these with #25th pick:

Jimmy Butler, C Jeremy Tyler, or Jajuan Johnson..
      Wolverines Packers Cubs Celtics

I'm not surprised they have the Cavs taking Jonas, but I AM surprised they have them doing it with the 4th pick. I imagine they could trade down and still get their guy since he lost a ton of value not being able to come this year. But with a project guy like him, there's no reason he'd need to be there anyway year 1.

EDIT: I like Jeremy Tyler for the C's. Definitely need to re-evaluate the big man situation there, I think JT is a solid prospect.

Not disapointed at all that my Hornets don't have a 1st round pick. This draft is full of bust and role players IMO.
You looking at the Chair MAN!

Number may not tell the whole story ,but they never lie either.

Definitely is - but I think the Role Player aspect is slightly overlooked. Think there are alot of quality guys who aren't going to be superstars, but great role players. A few guys who have alot of potential and can be something special - or the next big bust. And some safe guys. Not a bad time to try and fill out team needs with a couple of young guys.

I like Selby as a 2nd round pick, not sure whether he makes it to round 2 though.

Yeah I would agree with that.. But even in this weak draft there will be a couple guys that we didn't see coming that could make some all star games in the future.. Well at least that's my opinion.

The guys I'm looking for in the 2nd are: Travis Leslie, E'twaun Moore, Jon Leuer, Jamine Peterson(NBDL)

I dont know that theres an all-star lock, but the safe/cool thing to say is that if Irving plays up to his abilities he's probably the closest thing to a lock.

It would be very surprising to see some of these guys pan out - it'd be so ironic if this draft was a miniature 2003 all over again - though I don't think it is. We'd be hearing alot more praise than questions over this class.

There's one or two players I wouldn't hate if we traded back into the 1st to grab though.

I think the late 1st round picks and 2nd round picks in this draft are better than most recent drafts. I just don't think the top of the draft is as strong as usual, but I think guys like Tyler Honeycutt and Josh Selby can be very good players in the NBA as late 1st round picks and the 2nd round seems to be full of guys that can make NBA rosters and be solid role players.

Yeah, I have Honeycutt and Klay Thompson as my steals of the draft. The middle is extremely solid, but the top is definitelty weak.

Demetri McCamey from Illinois 1st round talent but is a small version of D.Cousins in terms of maturity and work ethic

Guys like Nikola Mirotic, Davis Bertans, Tobias Harris, and Chandler Parsons are some other late 1st-2nd round picks that I think can be contributors to good NBA teams.

What does everyone know about Davis Bertans? He seems to be the least-talked-about Euro guy in the draft, but from what I hear, his game resembles Toni Kukoc, just obviously not as good.

Edit: Apparently the Nike Summit coach is quoted as saying Bertans has the best shot he's seen since Dirk Nowitzki too.
