Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
Wow, NBAdraft.net has Kemba falling to 15 now. I forgot Indy isn't technically in the lottery. I really only go to NBAdraft.net and draftexpress.com
If Kemba falls out of the lottery it would be a steal and a no-brainer for whoever picks him.Comment

Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
I don't think Kemba falls out of the lottery.
Also, some of these Minny trade rumors are just straight up BS. I do see them trading down but they're not getting frickin' Pau Gasol or Steve Nash. If anything they'll be lucky to get that Gortat deal with Phoenix.
Not many GMs are valuing this draft or that specific pick very high, so even though Kahn wants to get some nice package out of it, that's not going to happen.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Sam Amick (who I thought is usually pretty good) says that he believes Cleveland intends to draft Tristan Thompson with their 2nd pick in the first round. He also believes that the Bucks intend to draft Klay Thompson over Alec Burks.NFL: Bills

If Kanter is off the Board at #4. I think CLE might trade down. Thompson is good player but with #4 Pick I dunno.Wolverines Packers Cubs Celtics

Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
Regarding the pick at #4, Amick said this:
I'm admittedly shocked to be dropping this early bombshell, but a source said there are strong indications this could be the pick as long as Kanter is off the board by No. 4. The Cavs need a player who can contribute now, and I think Lithuanian center Jonas Valanciunas gets passed up here because he doesn't fit those parameters. Huge upside and all, his buyout with his Lietuvos Rytas team (which was first reported by DraftExpress.com) prohibits him from playing in the NBA next season, and that is a problem for Cleveland. If the Cavs don't opt for Thompson, I'm told it will be a surprise if he gets out of the top 10".

Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
Here's the link to his mock draft. I'm not sure how great he usually is at predicting these things, but he's one of the guys that I remember people at OS recommending to follow on twitter for up-to date trade rumors and stuff.

That #4 pick is going to be a pain in the *** for the Cavs, assuming they take Kyrie and don't go Williams + a PG. Hell, I'm even slowly starting to think that might be the better plan if they can't make a good deal go down using the #4 and TPE. I just don't like the idea of drafting a Euro big who has all of about 2 high school games on film, when he was a lot bigger than most of the other guys on the court.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Ah, good looks. I stopped checking that site a few years ago because it got real bad IMO. The last time I checked it he was 24th IIRC shortly after UConn won the title."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

They have awful comparisons and I think they only start cleaning up their mock weeks before the draft. So I don't blame you lolComment
