yea Calathes has really been playing well, he's been the starting point guard and a key for his team winning a couple of Greek league championships. Idk if they are thinking of bringing him over this year or if it will be next year after JKidd's contract expires. I bet that if they cant re-sign JJB that they will think about bringing Calathes over this year. He was in attendance and in the locker room for game 5 and 6 of the Finals.

At this point, if I am the GM, I take this trade. We'd land the #17 pick for our #19 so basicly a lateral toss there.
That would be an awful trade for us to give up both the 9 and the 19. Take out the 19, I'm fine with it, the Knicks are the team looking to move up, not us. Make them pay for it.

Good point. At this point we are playing with the advantage in this trade. So maybe keeping the 19 would be reasonable.

Are you concerned about the Bobcats not having a healthy center signed currently or do you think it will be easily addressed by draft of FA?
The way to build a good team is not to load it with star players, but to load it with players who play well together with an identity

Utah Targeting Derrick Williams in 3 Team Deal
Derrick WilliamsWe're hearing that there is a 3 team deal in the works between Utah, Washington and Minnesota.

The deal would send the 6th pick and players (and/or cap relief) to Minnesota.

Utah would get the 2nd pick and is targeting Derrick Williams.

Washington would get the 3rd pick and is targeting Enes Kanter.

And Minnesota would move back and dump salary or add veterans such as Paul Millsap.
Minnesota might not be done at that as there is speculation that they would trade 6 to either move down again or add more established veterans.

The deal would likley involve established players. Some names that have been mentioned: Jonny Flynn and Devin Harris.

How funny would it be if the Cavs take Williams at 1, throwing that trade all out of whack.

              We'll never know.

Supposedly, the Cavaliers are trying to get another lotto pick, probably #7 or #8 and taking on an awful contract with their TPE.

Probably to target Tristian Thompson. Which I'm all for. Means JJ Hickson is probably going bye bye.

Yeah, if I'm the Jazz I'm probably dumping Jefferson because that is some serious $. Not sure about Millsap.

We will resign KwaMVP and probably draft a center with the #39 if Vuvecic or whatever his name is isn't there at 19.

                      11. Games.

Not saying the hype is not warranted, but that's such a small sample size to be sure on him.

Now on to more recent things in the thread.

Kemba to the Knicks just feels like a perfect fit. He will be loved, and he won't have to be no more than the #3 option every night. Which is perfect for him. I kinda hope this move happens (since it looks clear the Pistons won't take him).

Washington moving up for Enes makes me think meh. I think it's better trades out there for them.

It's for Tristan. I bet Charlotte then trades that pcik to Houston for C. Lee, 14/23

Not liking the idea of the Cavs going for more picks in this draft. Really would like to see them swing a pick in next year's draft to a potential lottery team.

Tristan Thompson is probably the one guy projected in the top 10 I actually haven't watched film on and from what I've read he's a really solid player but nothing spectacular. Anyone want to give me some quick insight on the kid?

                            Smoke screens... Hmmmm

Congo PF Bismack Biyombo doesn't have a letter of clearance from FIBA and is subject to a buyout, sources tell ESPN.com.
Biyombo's name was reportedly on a list sent out by the NBA Wednesday detailing players with buyouts. Biyombo's would be about $1.5 million, a hefty sum considering NBA teams are only allowed to pay up to $500,000. With rumors of a medical red flag, a last-minute green room invite and now this buyout situation, Biyombo is the draft's biggest question mark.
