    This.

    Bobcats as a franchise =

Hey they picked up Corey Maggete. So they got that going for them. Right?

I am? Dare I bring up the Bobcats draft history? Or lack there of.

Biyombo is going to need an incredible work ethic and great coaching in order to become the player he needs to be. Personally, I think he'll join the long list of athletic guys who cannot hack it in the NBA. And I've already made my thoughts on Walker known.

I really don't like the Bobcats draft. We'll see, though, could be totally wrong.

I agree with you for the most part, I was just regurgitating the media's stance in my first post.

CHA is stuck in mediocrity and they weren't going to acquire enough pieces to make a signification step forward so you might as well go in the other direction. They needed to blow things up, I like what they did given their situation. Biyombo was probably a reach but we'll see.

Serge Ibaka had the same criticism. Only thing DJ and Kemba have in common is size, they are two different players completely. I'd rather start over from the mess Larry Brown left than to keep dwelling around the 7th and 8th spot in the playoffs. No FAs want to come to Charlotte, so this is how we get better. Things have to get worse before they get better.

Still sitting here shaking my head about the Cavs draft..

What were they thinking with their last 3 picks?

Thompson was a good pick and who cares about the last pick. Only one you can get reasonably upset about is #32.

Very. I mean grabbing Leonard was a coup, but then turning around and picking up Bertans while he develops over-seas? Spurs don't like missing - ever.

I like Leonard a lot. Just a high energy hustle player, I can see him being a good bench player, a spark plug for their defense.

People tried bringing this up before and the experts basically said Ibaka showed promise as a mid-range shooter and didn't have any offensive game, but at least didn't look scared to play offense. They say Biyombo might be as good offensively as Ben Wallace lol.

And Ben Wallace was a world champion defender. It's not like we are asking Bitchsmack to score 20-30 points a night here.

With Oakley coaching him up, Bismack will be a good player.

I really do not think that this draft is going to look as "weak" 3-4 years from now, as it does today.

The NBA Draft has changed a lot.

Back when the college game was producing guys like Ray Allen, Grant Hill, Vince Carter, Tim Duncan, if your lottery pic didnt become at worst, a fringe all star..it was a failure.

Now, if a lottery pick develops into a guy who can be a solid starter or a good rotation player in the league for a decade, he's considered a success..and if he ever becomes a star, its gravy.
