Who's to say Kemba doesn't become an all-star PG in the league?
Blue, Wallace wasn't drafted by Charlotte, he was drafted by Sacto

Because he doesn't have the incredible athleticism that those guys have, doesn't have the passing and shooting ability of Chris Paul, and doesn't have the players around him like Rondo has.

I'd say there is about a 10% chance he makes the all-star game once in his life.

Actually sir, the Kings drafted him. The Bobcats got him after seeing him play 3 years in the league. He was an athletic freak.

Kembas got it in my opinion. I think Jordan will be very happy he dropped to his lap.

I think we can all agree the Wizards had the best draft.

You obviously don't know the difference between when Bob Johnson owned Charlotte and now that MJ does. But that's cool, continue with your blind hate.

Do people really think Williams and Knight/Walker would really have been a better draft than Irving and whomever?

Irving was the best player in the draft, a point guard in Byron Scott's system, and a young humble player. And why do the Cavaliers NEED a scorer NOW? The Cavaliers are in full rebuild mode, they shouldn't be looking for shortcuts IMO.

Why is this being questioned? I would rather have Kyrie over Kemba, but I do love the Kemba pick.

I've been reading and listening to people saying this since last night. Just wondering why they felt this way.

I am one who would have taken Williams & Kemba combo over what they ended up with.

Williams will have a great NBA career. He's either a tall 3, or a stretch 4, whichever way you want to look at it. He creates some pretty big mismatch problems. I think if he refine's his handles a tad, he already has the shooting stroke and basketball IQ, and will be the Gem of the draft. Is he a once in a lifetime player? No, but he'll be a heck of a player.

Kemba could have stepped in behind B-Diddy. Kemba is not the explosive scorer he had to be this year at UConn. He filled the void because they needed him to. He is a VERY nice Point Guard.

The Cavs have a logjam at PF right now, so JJ or someone has to go. If They take a Kemba/Williams combo, you have a really nice duo to build around. I like Tristan but he's nowhere near a 4 pick. They could have/should have held onto the 32 pick, grabbed Williams/Kemba combo, and be pretty well filled at the 1, 3, & 4 positions moving forward.

Granted, this is all my opinion, and some or most won't agree with it. But in my time watching and looking at what I would have done, that's the best case scenario.

Overall, Kyrie will have a good solid career, but I think he'll be one upped by Williams, and Kemba will have as good of a career. Just my thoughts.
