I think they can but I think billy is incapable of doing so at his terms

Where the owners didn't mind him there is how he dealt the players right against the clock

Owners couldn't be in a better position now

"Looks like the federal mediator will not be rejoining NBA labor talks. Nor are any (non-mediated) talks scheduled. Will have more later."

        - Howard Beck, NYT

Owners aren't moving so there is no need for a mediator. They have drawn their line in the sand and its 50/50.

          This time last year....

          bottles on deck, 10 pizzas
all the fellas at my place
          NBA 2k11 in the 360

prepping for MIA vs BOS, arguing about LeBron...

I absolutely DGAF about who needs to tap out or who needs to ease off the sharpshooter.

I want NBA basketball man. Make it happen.

I can't believe this is still going on. I haven't followed the negotiations nor do I care to but at this point I wouldn't be surprised if they cancelled the whole season. It just seems like incompetent people are in leadership positions.

Los Angeles is so peaceful and quiet. It's really quite nice.

Boy, Fisher and Hunter look like total morons. What a shock, who would have guessed this would have happened!

Every passing day now, the NBPA looks worse and worse.

At this point I really don't know how people are picking sides. Both are equally responsible for this nonsense. One party demanding 50 and walking out the other demanding no less than 52 and walking out. They're getting awfully close to losing more money over the course of a 7-10 year deal. That's on both sides.

Saw a article on ESPN, the owners r asking for 50/50 spilt, sounds good, but in reality its a 46 or 47/50+ split, hell no, TOGETHER WE STAND
Charlie Villanueva with breaking news. He apparently just heard the 50/50 concept was being discussed.

Hey <s>@</s>TheNBPA Let's play BALL enough with the stare off
                        Terrence Williams gets it though.

I'm on the side that has the leverage and thats the owners. Until you can tell me what leverage the players have other than unity, I hold them responsible. This isn't about "fair" anymore and no one should ever look for a fair deal in a labor dispute. Its about leverage and getting the best deal possible. Too bad the players don't realize it. I just want basketball and I realize the easiest way to get basketball is for the NBAPA to fold.

                            Good. The dissent is starting.

                            Go Terrance Williams.

Why are we even still talking about leverage and sides? Both sides have made it crystal clear that it's **** all us, so **** both of them. Both sides have the power to end this. The players can get they're heads out of their asses and just take the deal already and get this season on the road already but they ain't doing it. The owners can get they're heads out of their asses and see that these other jackasses are going to keep on with this game of chicken and do like most other bullies do when the little guy finally stands up to them. 'You got heart little man, you got heart.' Tip your cap, go to 51 or 52 and get this season on the road. Neither one of these sides are at all innocent in this cause neither one of them give a crap about the side that really matters in all of this and that's us.
