With a hard cap and nonguarateed contracts, there will always be players that prefer playing in LA then Milwaukee even if it means taking less money.
Just trying to suggest the fans of large market fans try to understand where a small market team fan is coming from. The Laker fan said he was tired of other teams fans becoming prejudiced, so, I'm just trying to show where that comes from.

If the Bucks have a successful #1 pick, they either have to trade them at the end of the rookie contract or overpay for them or as you suggested, they were a lousy #1 pick. Bogut happens to be the exception of a #1 pick staying, Jennings might be traded too.

The best choice was Dirk, but they traded him away for Tractor Trailer?????

As Pack will tell you. The power of the Kardashian is no longer with him. So **** 'em.

So every Laker fan in here is going to continue to ignore the 20 something milion dollars of salary the Lakers moved to get back 16? Then my man Drewski said Pau was a decent salary. C'mon Drewski, c'mon son.

Pau is making 18.7, 19 and 19.2 mil for the next three years. Meanwhile CP3 is making 16.3 this year. Y'all a trip boy.
Cp3s contract will raise with the extension (that he's definitely never even listening to NO about now). Pau is one of the most skilled (if not most skilled) big men in the league. If Chandler and Nene are fetching 13.5 year 1 of their contracts, I'd say Pau is definitely worth every penny. And the funnier part is Houston was taking Pau, not the "owners", so his contract doesn't really figure into this. LOs contract is amazing. 8.9 this year, 8.2 next year? What a freaking steal

I'll say it the Hornets, Timberwolves, and Kings should be contracted. Possibly need 1 more team contracted to get to a 26 team league.

I can see the appeal for the lakers in getting a good pg, but I don't think cp3 is the way to go right now. Trading for a decent pg like a dragic and getting Dwight would help them more. Just my 2 cents

Im glad the cp3 trade did not go through. I would rather have the possibility of howard teaming up without paul somewhere else so there is some sort of parity in this circus of a league.

I have some sympathy for Cleveland. They did all they could (short of trading for Amare) to keep Lebron. But Bucks fans? Why should I have sympathy for a team that traded Dirk (and you know Dirk is the sort of player who would have stayed in Wis. his entire career) and has bad luck with injuries (Redd, Bogut).

I think the prejudice is bull****. I'm a Laker fan but I have Wizards season tickets and I'm not bitter about bigger markets getting superstars. Why? Because if the Wizards front office did a better job with drafting and FA, they would be able to keep its players and more FA would be wiling to come to the team. Thats not the fault of the big markets. Its the team's fault. Same with the Bucks.

People don't want to come to the Bucks because they aren't contenders and they aren't contenders because they have bad luck and make bad personnel decisions. Not because the Lakers or the Heat sign better FA.

Three starters, a decent PG off the bench, and a ****ing first round pick. Yep that's a terrible trade.
Make no mistake, it's not about the players, it's about the money. The NBA owned Hornets are in no position to take on an extra 15 million in salaries.

I don't know much about Demps, but a move like that by a franchise that's already taking on water seems like amateur hour too me.

I actually agree, this trade was very risky for the Lakers. I said I wouldn't go in on Paul but if Mitch was able to save Bynum that's hard not to. Dwight is my number one choice as a Laker fan. Here's a good way to put a chip on the Lakers shoulder, can't imagine Kobe and co not being bitter as hell about this. Excited to see them play with purpose again.

Surprised the league isn't forcing the Lakers to trade Mitch Kupchak at this point.

I'm not mad that the trade didn't go through. I'm mad at the reason that the trade didn't go though. Not mad at keeping two good players in Pau and Lamar.

the first round pick would of been the 2012 knicks pick

Hornets got a good deal but again the lakers made out like bandits....
