The actual story:

Monday, the 22-year-old Ibaka said that James needed help defending teammate Kevin Durant, who won his third scoring title this season. In Game 1, Miami's Shane Battier mostly shadowed Durant, who scored 36. Durant is averaging 28.5 points the last two games.

"That's why they're doing some switching; that's why they're going very hard (defensively) on Kevin – because (James) can't guard Kevin one-on-one,'' Ibaka said. "Is he the best defender? I don't think so. I don't think LeBron can guard Kevin one-on-one for 48 minutes (without) help.''
Tuesday, James had his shot.

"I don't really care what he says. ... Stupid," James said after shootaround, ahead of tonight's Game 4 of the Finals, with the Heat leading 2-1. "Everyone says something to me every series. You guys keep trying to get a quote from me.''

Like this one, for instance, as James brought up the subject of Ibaka's comments again.

"It's not toward him, though. I don't really care what he says. It's stupid,'' James said.

Can they really just make **** up? lol

I can't believe that I watch ESPN so much.

Now they're playing the "LeBron is a family man, kid kissing, charity donating, one swell of a guy" angle.

This is painful what they do. And sadly...we all know they've done it for years.

You actually are doing similar to what you're accusing ESPN of and not giving the whole story. They did misquote LeBron with the "He's stupid" thing, but the gist of the story is pretty much the same as what's in the actual article on it from the newspaper.

Ibaka is absolutely right though. That's no knock on Lebron though, no one in the NBA could guard Kevin Durant for 48 minutes without help. But Lebron does as good a job on him as anyone in the NBA will.
