Who knows if Gay would have even stayed after next season. Which is sorta the thing to worry about for Raptors. Raptors and known players don't go together too well. VC left, McGrady left, Bosh left...could Rudy Gay be next on this list.

Hopefully when Raptors get new GM in offseason,they really listen to input from him and see who(if anyone) he wants Raptors to bring in as GM or something. And hopefully that new GM can further build a strong team for Raptors. One that'd make him wanna stay, and would make others possibly want to come here. Are there any players in the league who are good, but HATES all the media attention in USA?

Ok. Now I'm really confused. I thought the whole point of giving speights, Ellington, and a first rounder to the cavs for nothing was to keep Gay? Maybe they are going for a huge free agent hunt.

I'm really surprised Raptors aren't giving up a pick in any year. That seems like the typical thing to do for a Toronto team that's "rebuilding"
