minny didn't really like d-will because hes still a tweener, and they want love, and are very happy with brewer, and on top of that budinger is coming back from injury at some point probably.

mute is also a legit defender both on the perimiter and in the post, so he can play 3/4 for minny and provide much needed defense. love the trade for them

im just not certain what the kings are getting...is he going to play PF and be stuck behind thompson/patterson or will they make him a full-time SF and eventually start him over salmons

I like the move for Minny. Between LRMAM and Brewer, they now have two really versatile defenders.

I honestly want to see Bosh in a bigger role...as long as he's on the MIA team he won't ever be as good as he really can be...

him dirk and ellis would give other teams nightmares trying to defend the pick n roll game, would probably be one of top offenses

Oh really? Bosh is as good as he can be in Miami.

My initial reaction to this is negative and I doubt it happens, Bosh has shown little interest in playing Dallas, this wouldn't be the first time Dallas has shown interest in him either. I believe he's publicly said he wouldn't give Dallas a hometown discount. But the more I think about it the more I like. Bosh is one of the best 4's in the game and he has the versatility to the play the 5. Dirk is getting old, he still has a big role but it's undoubtedly diminishing a bit and what little athleticism he still has left is diminishing a bit. Monta Ellis, from very, very early signs, looks like he might be here for a while and I think him and Bosh would be a good duo.

If Bosh was to come here next summer after Dirk takes his pay cut we'd have a potential starting lineup of Calderon/Ellis/Marion/Dirk/Bosh. That wouldn't be a great lineup defensively but it could score points in a hurry. It's a long way off though and like I said, I doubt Bosh comes home.

I guess a Dirk/bosh frontcourt is the opposite of the Asik/Howard's. Neither seems like a good idea.

I don't think Dirk and Bosh negatively effect defense together the same way Asik and Howard negatively effect an offense.

Bosh is a really good defender what the heck are you talking about Vni. He's one of the absolute best big men on the PnR and LeBron and others have stated he's one of the main reasons Miami defense is the way it is. In the recrnt survey most PGs said Bosh is the guy they fear thr most on PnR. He's long, fast, and has active hands. I'd absolutely love him on my team.

Bosh has become completely underrated since signing with Mia. This guy was considered a bonafide superstar in Toronto.

Hibbert had a good time on him though.

Hibbert is also 7'4 and has almost 40 lbs on him. Using a match up as your basis is really poor. Olajuwon completely DESTROYED Robinson in the playoffs in 95. Robinson was still an elite defender but got manhandled. It happens one series definitely doesn't constitute a narrative and everyone knows that.
