I would think the Kings would want to build around Cousins, get a couple good shooters to space the floor, not another guy that takes a lot of shots.

Who's leaving New York? Shumpert?
Frank Isola of the New York Daily News reports that the Brooklyn Nets and Golden State Warriors are also interested in Lowry.Comment

Lol at NyJets
So, Pau pretty much gone after this year. There is no doubt hahahaha
Pau Gasol will become a free agent in the offseason and has not ruled out a return to the Memphis Grizzlies among what will be many options for the veteran power forward.
“It’s appealing,” Pau Gasol said. “One of the best centers in the NBA, one of the best interior players, is my brother. There’s a lot of attractive factors there. But who knows if that’s even a possibility or if that will ever happen. Right now, I’m just trying to focus on (the Lakers’ opponents) and staying healthy and playing a very successful year so this team and others will have the certainty and the confidence that I am a difference maker, that I am an elite player and I have a lot of years in me.”
Gasol's brother, Marc, was an NBA All-Star in 2012. Pau Gasol spent his first six and a half seasons with the Grizzlies.
“If there’s possibilities of being in a place that has those type of chances, it’s something I will think about,” Gasol said. “But, again, I’m not in that position yet. I’m here. We’re just kind of guessing here. We’ll see. We’ll cross the bridge when I get there. No rush.”

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
I'd still like Milwaukee to do something like Ilyasova and OJ Mayo for Hardaway, Amare, and a future 1st or something like that. I think that could be a win-win for both teams. Knicks aren't going to tear it all down and Mayo and Ersan would make them better in the short term. They'd also finally unload Amare's contract. And it would drive the tank for Milwaukee while getting a young SG and a future 1st.NFL: Bills

Re: 2013-14 Transactions Thread
Taken from Rotoworld,
"The Raptors and Knicks are reportedly "trying to construct a deal" that would send Kyle Lowry to New York.
Toronto is focused on the future and Lowry's expiring contract makes him a likely trade chip, while the Knicks are desperate for help at PG with Raymond Felton (hamstring) out 2-3 weeks. There aren't any details to report and it sounds as though the talks are in early stages, but it would be somewhat surprising if Lowry is still wearing a Raptors uniform at the All-Star break."
I really don't understand why the Raptors want to get rid of Lowry. His currently got a decent contract, he still young (27) and he can ball. I can definitely see him as one of the veteran leaders and floor general for the Raptors for many years to come. I mean he can be injury prone at times but c'mon, who you gonna replace him with?Comment

I've penciled in "throw a 30 minute tantrum" into my calendar for this evening after I learn that we've traded a 1st rounder, Shumpert and Felton for Kyle Lowry.

Hey if all they care about is trying to lose games then Felton should be a very valuable asset for them. Too bad he's out a few weeks.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment
