Thibs going to get fired or something?

Other than beefing with Management, I'm not sure why he or the Bulls would let him go.

On another note, all these "rumors" posted in here make me miss Chris Broussard.

I agree. Unless the Bulls don't want to pay up, there aren't going to be any coaches comparable to Thibs. Just doesn't make sense.

One of the insiders had been saying that he was hearing Thibs might be their most attractive trade asset as they try to rebuild. Mentioned that a lot of rival GMs think teams like the Knicks might target Thibs in a trade.

The Lakers chick just said she thinks he would try to get out of Chicago after the year if management doesn't move him beforehand.

I ended up falling asleep before I could hear more, but it was an interesting podcast. It was the 12/13 one if anyone wants to listen to it on their own.

Lol trade Thibs to the Knicks or just trading him in general.

I swear the "rumors" these "insiders" just throw out are just lolworthy themselves.

Haha, don't shoot the messenger. Just saying what they said on the podcast lol.

Personally, I think Chicago is too proud to do any of these moves because it would pretty much be admitting that they won't be able to get it done with the core that they currently have.

The one thing that I think has truth to it is that the Lakers insider said it's her understanding that the Lakers have pretty much admitted they won't win another title with Kobe in the next two years, so for now, they just want to ride it out with him and make sure the team is competitive enough to keep fans coming back, but making sure that they don't take on any contracts that extend beyond 2016 because they want to have their options open for if Kyrie, Durant, Westbrook, etc. become free agents.

The same way Boston traded Doc Rivers to the Clippers. I don't think it can involve players, so it would have to be draft picks in return unless they find a work around.

Man I thought Shumpert's stats where way better than that. He doesn't seem to do much except defend.

Well thats something that nobody on the Lakers does. He would be a positive add if for only that.

I agree but he isn't someone you want to give too much to get. He seems pretty overrated. Well at least he was in my mind until I look up his stats.

I've always thought he's overrated. He does have potential though. If I remember right, he's a pretty decent shooter when it's just spotting up, plays good defense, good athleticism, and decent passing ability. Very much a work in progress though.

I'm talking like right now. A lot of Knicks fans (before the entire team collapsed) believed Shumpert was already a great SG that would start on almost any team in the league. I'm fine with people thinking he has a lot of potential. But right now, he's nothing more than a role player.

I've never heard anyone, Knick Fans included, think of him as anything more than a role player who plays good D. Right now or before the season started.
