Good. Unbelievable what the Spurs were able to do with the way they were resting guys.

Awful, just awful. Pops is a worthy candidate, but Thibs did so much more with so much less.

        Really disappointed.

Well he may have had less, but he definitely didn't do "so much more"..

San Antonio has the best record in the league playing in the best conference, and the best division. I don't think any team has done more than them at this point.

I would disagree wholeheartedly. Thibs did a great job no doubt, but to say he did "so much more" over a guy who lead his team to the best record in the entire NBA, in the fashion in which it was accomplished is a little ridiculous. Not to mention the fact that Thibs benefited from the East being beyond awful and having a losing record in the West also didn't help his case.

              Well deserved IMO. Congrats Pops

NBA is 2 for 2 so far.

Pop had the best record in the league with so many disjointed and different lineups, it wasn't exactly easy for him.

Pop should win CoY pretty much every year, to be honest...

Pop does the most with scrubs. I mean, the Spurs have guys that couldn't sniff playing time on other teams like Danny Green (who couldn't even get playing time on the Cavaliers) playing 30+ minutes per game in the Finals for crying out loud. Of course, Danny has improved since then, but Pop's teaching has a lot to do with that, too.

Pop's system turns scrubs into serviceable players.

Man, 10 wins away from the 96 Bulls. That's impressive.

Hard to say Pops doesn't deserve it, but Thibs lost his MVP and best player AGAIN for the year. His 2nd best all-around player got traded. Had to deal managing Boozer's corpse for another year(that's a first place vote by itself). Turned freakin' DJ Augustin into a stud, etc.

That team could've easily folded up shop like the Lakers did, but Thibs and Noah wouldn't let that happen.

Sportswriters having votes is hilarious. Voting should be done by peers in the industry.
