I don't even want Melo in Chicago, and I'm a Bulls fan.

All I'll say is I hope for Melo's sake that Dolan stays out of Phil's way and Phil can actually do his job and get a team good enough to get past the first or second round out there because Melo is gonna be kicking himself if we're sitting here five years from now still making jokes about his playoff appearances.

It depends if they all are realistic. Wade might not have come to grasp how badly his decline is, and Lebron & Bosh might be more passive aggressive and instead of saying to him "it's time for you to take a backseat" they might be the types to just sign somewhere else.

So yes I think they talked but, unlike with the Decision they might not be showing all their cards with each other this time.

Im sure Wade knows where he is. Just like he knew he had to hand LeBron the keys to win

I wish Wade would just take a lower deal. If Curry take take a 11 mil a year contract for injuries, Wade can do the same.

Does he have a massive shoe deal with this new company? He dropped his 10 mil a year Jordan deal for them. And if I'm not mistaken he even owns some share in the company. He needs to just swallow the pride and take the cut.

I'd rather see this say Landry Fields or Chuck Hayes but Novak didn't do much last season anyways, I guess.

The consensus among the beat writers for Utah is that they're matching anything. That's why teams are reluctant to even offer at him. Think he could get a Pekovic situation where he ends up resigning with Utah for far less than what a team would have offered.

Diante Garrett for Novak and a 2nd rounder.

I really liked Garrett as our backup last year, he played really well. It will be sad to see him go, but Novak should fill in Richard Jefferson's role nicely as the veteran guy who shoots threes and probably plays a little too much. Hopefully he won't get too many minutes.

Just saw the Patterson deal. So happy for him. Him coming back for his junior year paid dividends. If he left after his sophomore year I don't think he would still be in the NBA. Cal helped him develop a semblance of a perimeter game.

Good signing. Clips need more bigs.

Am I trolling? Am I serious? Did Dennis Green and the Cardinals really "let them off the hook"? What about the children? Find out next week

They desperately need a back up big though.

Looks like a good signing to me. LA was always weak in depth up front, and I always thought Hawes was underrated in some ways. Clippers got a steal to get him just under 6 IMO.
