McBob and Bosh as your starting 4 and 5 is a scary thought, and not in a good way. Talk about a recipe for getting your front court abused by anyone with a halfway decent big.

Losing shooting over Battier? Nothing at all, he was the most inconsistent player on the team.

That second part already happens. How is McRoberts going to be worse defensively against big men than Lewis was? lol

IMO to get rid of Boozer shouldn't even be a consideration but they haven't decided yet.
You're wrong there. Boozer is gone, it's just a matter of how it's done. The only reason it hasn't happened yet is because they want to be able to use him in a sign and trade to get Melo to a max deal. If I'm not mistaken, using the amnesty on him doesn't give his full 16.8 mil in cap space.

With or without Boozer King there is a problem in Chicago

Yeah, their best player has missed the last two years and they have contracts that are hampering them from doing things.

So is Melo the only play? If so then thats just a losing situation

Their last 3 combinations at PF-C have been Battier, Haslem, Lewis and Bosh....they are a little late if they are concerned about size, lol

Outside of Melo, the other options are Gasol, Deng, Parsons and I'm not sure who else they're looking at.

Dallas plans on starting Ellis and Stephenson in the backcourt? Interesting move, but Rick Carlisle will have his hand's full keeping those two in check.

I said during the season that I hoped they had a good Plan B just in case Plan A(Melo)doesn't end up happening, especially if it's all about getting Rose "another scoring option" like we've been hearing for the last few years.

Maybe, I personally don't know much about Vonieh but I don't think Clifford is a big rookie guy...

At least you can't question his experience in dealing those types of players, which is part of the reason why he's one of the best Coaches in the league. His ability to deal with players who have issues/baggage and get the best out of them.

Yeah but its at the point where they NEED to do something man. We had this talk earlier in the year. If either one of Melo or Rose is it, then be prepared to be disappointed.

I know man I don't quite understand it. While they could be talking to someone, I feel like they aren't.
