    Per Woj

Free-agent forward Michael Beasley has agreed to join the Memphis Grizzlies in training camp on a non-guaranteed contract, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Beasley spent several days working out for Grizzlies this week and chose that offer because of an opportunity to make the roster as a backup power forward.

Beasley spent several weeks working out for teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs.

So, why would the T-Wolves trade their all-star big man so they could offer a max to Rubio, then go and sign another guy who plays the same way as Rubio only better?

Everything about that organization's thinking stinks. Kahn must still be over there or something.

Clippers made some good moves this offseason. Just don't know how its going to translate in the post-season

I think if they stay mostly healthy all season they can at least get to the WCF with how Blake and Deandre are improving.

Really hope he can find himself in Memphis, he has a chance to make a big difference there.. Nice to add a young scorer to that group.

Dude needs to just go overseas and show he can be consistent for 2-3 years then maybe come back.

If I were the Suns Dieng would have to be in the deal.

Hopefully he can stay healthy this year because Dragic and him are a fun combo.

Good to see that the situation was solved ... glad he signed before things got awkward and it affected the Suns' play

God am I glad this drama is over. 5 years 70 million dollars is a ton of dough, and a big jump from 4 years, 48.

Hopefully Bledsoe works hard to win back the Suns fan base. A vast majority have turned on him throughout this ordeal. He needs to lock himself into a gym and work on ball-handling and decision-making and, oh yeah, he has to stay healthy.

I wouldn't be surprised if he still gets dealt at some point now that he's secured.

Hope this doesn't hurt plans to re-sign Goran, but I guess if the cap is going up soon it shouldn't matter.

As much as a part of me was hoping Milwaukee would end up with him, I'm glad to see them finally agree on a deal. That team was so much fun to watch last year.

Isaiah Thomas is basically a lock for 6th man now ... unless they plan on using the first all-PG lineup

Problem is he's inefficient and undersized even as a backup PF. I would think he'll replace James Johnson and play the tweener forward spot, but he isn't the hustle/dirty work player that Johnson is. I'll hope for the best for B - Easy and this has to be the moment and time he finally turns it around. He's still young but his chances are running out, IMO.

Yeah I agree with you. The only plus he gives over Johnson is potential to be a much better scorer, while the rest of the team can probably make up for the hustle and gritty play.. Since that's their identity anyways.

On a positive note Beasley actually very good in Miami last year, the only problem was he barely sniffed the court. Which I still look back and wonder why.
