Apparently when Rachel Nichols interviewed LeBron about his diet she asked him if the weight loss made him quicker, and he responded "I am. And that's not such a good thing for the competition"..

I'm excited to see how he looks this year. If anything I just hope this group gets out and runs some. He's always been on teams that were among the slowest paced teams in the league.. If he gets just a couple extra fast break points, or open looks from this "offensive gurus" system, he could very well reach some historic level of scoring and efficiency..

Just a made up scenario, let's just say he stays the level he has been as far as percentages and shot attempts go, but Love's rebounding/outlet passing and having Kyrie as a running mate gets him just two extra open court dunks/layups per game.. Add that to last year and he would average 31ppg on over 60% shooting.. Crazy to think about.. Slightly faster pace would likely yield a few extra free points at the free throw like as well. Can't wait!

Hmmm Keith Bogans though? They couldn't have found a useless big man instead... I just don't see the need for Bogans with all the guards they currently have..

Its his contract thats important with this deal, it could lead to a big through trade. With Dion, Miller, and maybe Allen, I doubt he gets much PT. Mozgov is the guy that always get mentioned, its a limited market for Cs.

Haha as only a Kentucky fan would say! FWIW I actually really liked Bogans in college though, and I live in Arkansas so obviously I'm a hogs fan,

TBH, I didn't know we had a college basketball section haha. Only time I get on here is with my phone so I really haven't explored much... Arkansas, UNC my favorite two teams since childhood. But I'm not a crazy diehard who doesn't enjoy watching other teams play.. Generally the only team I don't wish to see do well is Duke. But I do love coach K.

Lol I aint hatin ... he was actually underrated when he played for the bulls and he was one of our really good defensive guys. Since then .... eh

He's shown sprinkles here and there of being a good rotational player and had a good lil run under Thibs but other than that, he's been a meh player.

He can knock down that corner 3 I'll give him that much though and give you a few mins of tough, positional Defense.

Damn all those free agents next year!.. I still think Cleveland should have offered the Wiggins/Bennett package for Faried, Mozgov, Foye.. Then still made this trade for Bogans..

That would leave them with Foye, Varejao, Haywood, and Bogans all expiring. (Since adding Mozgov would allow them to drop Andy)..

Faried and Waiters still have cheap contracts and Cleveland would have lots of space to work with, all those expiring plus the money saved from not getting Love's contract..

They could have thrown offers at Al Jefferson, Monroe, Brook Lopez, Hibbert, Deandre Jordan, Aldrdige, Millsap, etc... And probably still have money to go after guys like Dragic, Afflalo, Jeff Green, Gerald Henderson, Jeremy Lin, Mo Williams, Asik, etc..

OR if Love really wanted to go to Cleveland just sign him after also getting Faried and Mozgov.. Sigh, the possibilities when you don't throw all your eggs in one basket..

Idk how much left over money that all equates to but my mouth is salivating over a possible Kyrie, Waiters, LeBron, Love, Jordan like up, with Faried/Thompson, Mozgov on the bench.. Good lord.

Yes I'm making up pointless hypotheticals and playing couch GM again lol.

I guess with all the money they are saving though they could still throw some kind of offer at Jefferson/Jordan/Hibbert.. Or maybe a combination or Asik/Gerald Green.. Hmmm maybe Hibberts stock will be diminished by then lol.
