Who's going to score consistently for them? They have a bunch of guys who can do it once in a while, but not ever night. Over paying for Parsons, and Green will not fix that. Green is a spot up shooter, not someone who can do it on his own.

You Laker fans are drunk. You always and I mean always take the best player and figure it out later. Not "hope" a bunch of young players turn out to be something. What am I doing trying to convince Laker fans to use common sense. They want to continue to lose more power to them.

I thought that if you had the opportunity to trade for one of the actual stars in the league, you do it. Cousins isn't some 24-year-old prospect showing flashes, he's a 24-year-old monster that's getting it done with hardly any help aside from Rudy Gay.

His defense was nothing to brag about. Honestly the only thing he has that's above the rest is his hustle but honestly that's not always a good thing with him.
Seems pretty harsh. What about his face up game, speed and handles ?

He's in better shape now too. I really wonder what kind of a player he can become but I think he has talent, desire to be good and a stolid work ethic.

Just got a Gametime alert. Grizzlies trade Ridnour for Matt Barnes.

We are probably going to flip Ridnour for Lamb.

I rather have the combination of Okafor, Randle, Clarkson and the cap space in a city like Los Angeles than just have Cousins on a team constructed like the Lakers right now.

This is better for their future, just depends how hard they are willing to, or how much they want to, try and contend sooner rather than later.

You would rather have that mess of players and cap space instead of Cousins and cap space? Look at it like this. Cousins is the exact type of guy who would go beast mode after being traded just to stick it to his old team. He could easily go for 30 and 15 and get the Lakers into the playoffs with whatever help they could get him with all of the cap space they will have.

Yeah I would rather want the ability to add a max player to the players I talked about and then have the ability to add another max guy when Kobe contract expires. Also with the way the Western Conference is right now; I would rather build toward the future than now.

And knowing them, it'll most likely want to be sooner.

For those that are saying they should make the deal, how much better do you think they'll be with what they'll have on the roster, who's Coaching and with how the rest of the Conference is/will shape up?

I can see if they were in the East, then I'd be all for it because it's a move that can have you go from lottery to Top 4-5 in THAT conference. In the West, is it really making you better than the other 6-7 teams in front of you and that you know are going to be in contention for a while?

It's all good to trade him there now and then if Kobe gets hurt again, then he's right back in the same situation he just left where it's just him and with a bunch of average guys and a garbage *** Coach.

Yeah I rather have Okafor and everything else given the entire situation. It also wouldn't surprise me if his reputation with players isn't that good and that other players are not as interested in playing with him.
