Hey I don't doubt you, I don't know much about Brook personally. I always wonder how many guys in the league would like to "play at home" if they could, not sure if he was one of those dudes or not. I hope for your team's sake he stays around.

From Woj regarding Lopez and Thad Young:
Lopez is likely seeking a three-year, $60 million maximum contract extension, league sources said. The Nets are planning to pay the 7-footer that full market value, although an agreement could include some financial protections for the Nets should a recurrence of Lopez’s past foot issues sideline him again, sources said.
Lopez, 27, could do a deal that includes a player option for the third year, which would allow him to re-enter free agency after the maximum contract salaries elevate with the flow of new television money.
Young, 27, who opted out of $10.2 million owed him next season, is on course for a four-year, $48 million-plus deal in the free agency marketplace and the Nets appear strongly willing to meet those parameters, league sources said.
League rules prohibit negotiations on these free-agent deals before July 1. Only then can the Nets start discussions on those deals.#RespectTheCultureComment

I thought Tim hardaway jr was a decent player with potential am I wrong or what happened? It's been a year and they already traded him? As for Carmelo as much as his wife loves ny only place he could go is Brooklyn and it's basically the same situation with more mediocre talent and less cap space

He also didn't adjust well to the triangle.
I'm not sure why we as Knick fans complain about never having draft picks because the few times we do, we trade them away.Comment

Can't lie, I'm a fan of that MIA squad...
That said, I was a fan of the squad last year and it didn't end well...Comment

He's awful. Can't pass. Can't defend. Can't rebound. Takes terrible shots. He's a good shooter but has the shot selection of Jamal Crawford minus the skills.

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Agreed. Wade, Bosh, Dragic, Whiteside, Winslow, Deng, McBob, Beasley and Chalmers is pretty damn good in the East. Assuming they bring everyone back, of course."In the morning he would read the Bible with another coach. Then, in the afternoon, he would go out and cheat kids who had probably saved up money from mowing lawns to buy those raffle tickets. That's Jim Tressel."Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Miami is looking ok. Think if Wade takes a step back to allow Dragic to truly take the team over then they could be in a very good situation next season.
Didn't see any mentions of Indiana. Can't count them out, especially now that they'll have a (hopefully) healthy Paul George.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Honestly I think David west played a huge role in the leadership of that team and his low post presence will be severely missed and without him coming back I think Paul George alone can at best pull them to an 8th seed by himself because I'm assuming they won't get any FA and that Roy Hibbert will still be a joke.
They're trying to salary dump Hibbert, which would give them a max slot I think. I agree I'm not high on them without west though.

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
I think they have like 3/4 of the team as FAs, so they will have significant capspace, even more so if they get someone to take Hibbert away from them.
But I am not sold on them being able to attrack 1s tier FAs nor redesign their team to fit their new intended scheme this year, at least not to the point of getting them to be contenders like they used to.
West versatility and leadership will be severely missed.Comment

I agree that Hardaway was the best second option the team had, but isn't that a problem?
Grant apparently has all the skills Hardaway has but better. It's a move you make, I think.
