Worst case scenario for us is that we overpay because really, what's the alternative to letting him walk? For all his rebounding flaws(which are legit BTW)he's still way too valuable to us than he would be any other team.

He basically carried us into the playoffs over the last 2-3 months of the season while the "Face of the Franchise" was either dealing with injury after injury or more "confidence issues".

So what's the good positive outlook and the best case scenario for the Brooklyn Nets next season? I just can't wait for you guys to get rid of that God awful waste of a basketball player in Deron Williams. He's been nothing since Utah. He's been even worse than nothing

Nets must be pretty confident about Lopez after trading Plumlee to the Blazers.

Dennis Lindsey said that teams offered him multiple firsts for the 12th pick last night, but he really likes Lyles.

I don't know much about Lyles, honestly, but if DL likes him all I can do is trust the process I guess.

Where have I stated Wade is leading this team anymore?

I view our new core as:

            Dragic
            Bosh
            Winslow
            Whiteside

I hope Wade can be a part of it.

And one or both of The Heat or Cavs (Cavs obviously) can very well get to the ECF.....but the West is too damn good right now.

He's long and versatile that's for sure. But I never really noticed him being good at anything in particular. Doesn't seem to have a strength in any area.

Well, we needed a backup big, not a guy who is going to take minutes away from Favors/Gobert, so I like the pick in that sense.

Definitely very versatile. Has a lot of potential. I honestly think he should play at the 3 even tho that may be considered a big lineup he can guard multiple positions. He has a consistent mid range jumper even tho he didn't shoot much and he can attack the basket. Cals platoon system I think limited him offensively so I don't know how well he will score against guys in the NBA but he certainly won't be a defensive liability I can promise you that.

There is no chance in hell that this "new core" without wade makes it to the ECF next year unless Atlanta Washington and Chicago have multiple season ending injuries

Hope the East is in the same shape it was this past year(I'd say it's a 98% chance of that happening)and hope for the best.

And that's the best case scenario for us, which is sad but we have no one to blame but ourselves for that.

You mean your new core of Hollis Jefferson, Steve Blake, brook Lopez, and McCullough can't dethrone the Cavs? Glad we have one rational fan and outlook.
