Ugh as a recent closet Nets fan with a soft spot for the Knicks (my dad is from NY and a diehard), there's a lot that I could say about expectations for the offseason.

Point guard Deron Williams plans to opt out of the second season of his contract with the Mavericks, sources told ESPN.com.

I see Deron thinks it's 2008 again or something. Brother need to go on ahead and make his 5.6 and be happy with it

I wouldn't be opposed to seeing D-Will back in Utah. He'd be a nice fit and mentor with Exum and Neto. Be a lot like Fisher was for us way back when we had D-Will, Okur, AK47, and Boozer. We need a leader and a vet.

He ain't going nowhere especially since he was always talking about playing in Texas while he was with us.

I think we're still paying him for 2 more years even though he's not on the books.

I don't believe he's ready but we'll see, it's definitely going to be a tough road ahead for Lukeeeeeeeee.

Luke better be getting that Kerr money.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Fisher needs to chill at home with Matt Barnes' ex chick and collect those checks from the Knicks.
