I'd reply to the post but we all know Kobe is no MJ and your comparisons hold no water in the scheme of it all.

Actually, articles are saying that the Lakers have the best chance of picking up Peja (without giving up LO) in 2007, which is when they will be cleared of Grant's contract, and possibly Deavon George's.

And to the people who are saying Kobe is took all of the shots away from his team yesterday . . . he only took 21 shots, and made 13, that's 62%. He is suppose to shoot over 20 shots per game, as he is their star. Add in the fact that he was on fire, so you can't say he took all of the shots. Most of them were good looks except toward the end, but those last couple of threes were just to make the score more respectable.
Just to put things in hindsight:
Kobe Bryant took 21 shot attempts in 41 minutes (Made 13)
Ray Allen took 22 shot attempts in 38 minutes (Made 10)
Shaq O'neal took 14 shot attempts in 22 minutes (Made 7)

Look at those players, Kobe's shot attempts don't look off to me.

Haters show refusal to respect a guy, you are sitting here bashing him for what reason really ???

example Carlos Boozer left for more money in Utah, is he at fault for that, the overall idea no, he's doing it for himself, bettering his situation right ?

Kobe all he wants is to lead a team, become numero uno, test his ability, what is the big freakin' deal ...

Kobe is hated because he is confindent, cocky but yet he backs it up everytime he steps on the court, this guy loves the game plays with passion how could you not respect that ... I used to dislike Kobe for those same reasons, but realized his work ethic, his willingness to get better and try to be the best ...

I swear, people are starting to treat him like OJ ..

If you don't like him thats fine, but refusal to acknowledge his ambition and treating it as some vice is ridiculous theres no reason for it ...

and I for one and not gonna sit back and have people bad mouth him, when all he wants to do is be the best ...

theres no mention of Shaq, when he's yelling to the owner

                            "give me my F******* money!"

is that not selfish, funny as ever but selfish

Phil is not bigger than the game, yet he thinks he is ...

Kobe is not the sole reason the shaq/laker thing is over, Shaqs ego is takes a part in all this ....

Why would Kobe want to win championships with Shaq every year if nobody wants to give him credit for it? I mean Devean George has three titles but I doubt that will ever put him above anyone else and her wont get credit for them. So why would Kobe want to win title after title with Shaq(maybe, considering they have lost the last two and Shaq may be able to carry a team for maybe 2-3 years) if he gewts no more credit for it than Devean George?

Now a fair comparison, but just get the jipse of what Im saying. It makes sense to me.
