Bogut would know. The former No. 1 overall pick missed two weeks of action early in the season after bumping heads with New Orleans forward Dante Cunningham in the Warriors’ opener. Bogut would later refer to suffering the concussion as the worst injury of his career — and this is a guy who broke his hand, sprained his wrist and dislocated his elbow all on the same fall during a game in 2010.

“There’s probably people calling Kevin Love soft and those people are idiots,” Bogut said. “You don’t mess around with the brain. You can be a hero now in the NBA Finals in 2016, and in 2021 you will be sucking food through a straw. “And you won’t give a [expletive] about what you did in 2016.”

I'll keep preaching the same thing; with the combination of how good the Cavs' starting lineup played last game and how poorly the Cavs bench has played every game, it's really a no-brainer to have Love come off the bench to provide much needed scoring. Hopefully coach cLueless agrees (he still gets this nickname until they win tonight).Comment

And Curry well...he's probably injured even though they won't admit it.
I keep thinking the same thing myself that eventually one will get going, but I'm perfectly fine if they don'tComment

Curry only played 25 minutes due to foul trouble and still had 18 points, 9 boards and 4 assist. Klay had 17 points in 31 minutes and they both shot over 50% from the field. Maybe that's not what we used to seeing from them, but can we really say Game 2 was bad game for them?My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

I dunno if Steph will find his offensive game but I feel pretty confident he and the Warriors won't have that bad of a defensive game again.Wolverines Packers Cubs Celtics

Game 3 was a disaster for the Splash Brothers, but Game 2 wasn't actually a decent game for them. They both shot 4-8 from 3 and both played pretty well with the exception of turning the ball over a little too much.

Also, all this talk about Love is hilarious. Before it wasn't that Love was the liability it was Kyrie! GS was literally attacking him every chance they could because his defense was so bad... and people around here were saying "Love looks much better out there, at least he's putting in effort... Kyrie's gotta go."
Bottom line is roll players play better at home. The strategy to shut down Klay and Curry as destined to be more effective in Cleveland bc the GS role players weren't likely to step up like they did at home. We also should've expected Kyrie, Smith and TT to play better at home. If Love was healthy, I would've expected him to play better too. Him getting hurt wasn't some magic solution to them turning the series around.
I hear 24's take that it generally helps balance the team more with him coming off the bench, and I doubt he's 100% so it makes sense to limit his minutes because of that. But this idea that they blew GS out without him means that he was the problem in Games 1 and 2 is ridiculous.Comment

So everyone who suggested Kevin Love would be better suited coming off the bench against GSW said all that?Comment

Did they? Maybe you should re-read what I wrote. I'm pretty sure some others agreed with 24 but if you just want to argue you can ignore that part of it.Comment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
Well let's just say that Love didn't play in game three and it happened to also be the one game they've won in the series. Oh and they beat them by 30.
I'd say them being at home and down 2-0 had more to do with the blowout than no Love. But I'm sure that no Love was one of the many contributing factors to the result of game 3.Comment
