And on a bad note that Ezeli subsitution turned out to be prett bad. It was basically a 6 points turnaround. That dumb foul on Lebron for 3 free throws and then Lebron comes back and hits his first three after that.

Man, I was a bit concerned after games 2 and then game 4, but what a game.
I am extremely happy for LeBron. This guy is as close to a perfect basketball player as it comes and one of the better athletes off the court.
Draymond definitely earned everyone's respect after last night.
Steph was reckless. That behind the back pass was unnecessary.

Still can't believe that with the series hanging in the balance Love put the dog on Curry.

Kevin Loves defense on that last Curry 3
I see you Kev
Also
Ridiculous
Them two 3s by JR to start the second half also solid. Kyrie going baseline on Ezeli and laying it in with the left, clutch. Kyrie poking out the ball from Varejão when he was right under the rim. Kyrie taking Draymond to the rack at the 6:20 mark of the third, clutch.
Varejão & Ezeli were quite useless, so many missed shots from Klay & Steph. Just so many things went wrong for GSW. That scoop layup over Draymond with the left with the andone from Kyrie at the 4:33 mark in the third, clutch.
Cleveland's D was solid and the Love switches at the top on to Steph were solid as well.
You can see the difference in coaching, timeouts called at the right time, subs being made etc all going to Lue just outcoaching Kerr that second half.
What a great game 7 and def worth the rewatch.Comment

I have to agree with you their. Love hasn't been enough of a game changer for the Cavs to make giving up Wiggins for him worth it in my opinion. Probaly could have got by with someone else. Not nessicarily someone who was already on the roster but someone that doesn't require you to give up a nice young talent like Wiggins.
Me too.

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
Can't turn back the hands of time. The Warriors won the 2014-2015 NBA championship, but does the Warriors losing the 2016 finals "invalidate" their title last year? Were the Warriors in fact "lucky" last year? Should there be a mental asterisk on the Warriors 2015 title run? Had Kyrie and Love been healthy last year, would the Cavaliers have been two time champions and the Warriors 40 year drought been 42 years and counting?
Just a thought. Not looking for answers, just a thought I'm going to put out there.
Still hate the Cavaliers.Last edited by strawberryshortcake; 06-20-2016, 08:34 AM.Comment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
The loss doesn't necessarily invalidate Golden State's record. It just means you can't put them in the class of the 96 Bulls or other championship teams. But there should and always be a place for this team. Let's say they win the next three titles, which could happen.
The debate will be which team was better?
A lot of fan bases have that debate where the team that didn't win it all was deemed the best. That makes sports banter cool. After more than eight years on here, I finally figured out how to edit my time zone!Comment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
It may or may not. But it certainly does give the opposition more fire power to invalidate the Warriors 2015 title run. If I wasn't a Warriors fan, I'd probably look at their 2015 title run completely differently given the outcome of the 2016 finals. Whether or not Curry was completely healthy or not, the Warriors big 3 and Cleveland's big 3 were in fact on the court. If you're playing, you're healthy enough.Last edited by strawberryshortcake; 06-20-2016, 08:41 AM.Comment

I take exception to those 'validation' comments especially being a Spurs fan back in '99...heard all kind of silly things..Comment
