Why would any of these guys want to go to the Lakers? No offense to Laker fans here, but their management has been **** these past few years. I can't see any positive outlook on going there. Things aren't what they used to be, you don't have to be in LA to get prime time exposure anymore.

I think the only reason that we hear about the lakers is because they can sign Durant aswell. That's the only way Lebron would even consider the lakers imo.

I also have trouble holding it against guys who go in the locker room early in Klay's case but that's just me. I feel like if I was in his position in 2016 and that just happened to me, I'd be ready to cry my ****ing eyes out and in this day and age you're not allowed to show ang emotion or people act like you're a bitch so I'd just get out of sight personally. I remember people making fun of Bosh for crying, not to say that's 100% what Klay was doing just that there's reasons in my mind to leave the floor early in some instances.

          I disagree

He didnt have to call anything with harrison Barnes and ezeli in the game

I mean they were just sabotaging things in both sides of the floor

Not sure if I'm qualified because I'm a Pistons fan first, but this Warriors season was incredible regardless. I'm certain it hurts for real Warriors fans just like it hurt when Rasheed Wallace left Robert Horry open in 2005.

But then again, on that same line of thought, the Horry shot hurt, but us Pistons fans were at least able to celebrate a championship the year prior. You'd always love to win two, but losing to San Antonio in '05 would have been way worse if there'd been no ring in 2004.

I kind of look at it the same with the Warriors this year. If they'd never won last year, this L would have been absolutely agonizing, with everyone wondering if it's possible to even win with their style of play, whether the Warriors have "It", whether a team can ever succeed with Stephen Curry as its point guard, whether Steve Kerr needs to cede his throne to Andris Biedrins, etc.

Instead, with a championship in tow, I've looked at this Warriors team as an era so far, one that has featured an NBA championship, the greatest start in NBA history (24-0), the greatest regular season record in history, and a gutsy, exciting, and unique style of play that's probably going to change the game forever (even in a loss, Pandora's Box of newly acceptable shot attempts has been opened; it's going to take time for others to catch up, but it's opened).

In short, I personally still care about the 73 wins. It's been a part of a wonderful ride. I imagine every single person who enjoyed watching the Warriors would trade 73 wins for another title but since that's not reality, an all-time wins record (to go along with a ring last year) is a pretty cool thing for a franchise to lay claim.

To bring it back to Detroit, winning that ring in '04 has immortalized every single member of that roster (Ben, Sheed, Chauncey, Tay, Rip, Memo, etc). And I'm sure there's a contingent who treats every other non-ring Pistons year as forgettable and absolute failure. But many, many fans still rattle off the non-ring accomplishments from that squad as well (locals love the four All-Star year, the six straight conference finals, setting a franchise record in single season wins, etc).

Many may not care about 73 on Monday morning, but it'll go far in fondly recalling this team as time goes by ("this team" meaning this few years of Warriors basketball).

Bogut injury hurt the warriors more than people think even though he plays limited minutes. Barbosa definitely should have got more run this series.

Agreed. If Lebron really wants to win another championship he will probaly just stay in Cleveland. No one really gives him a better chance of winning it again next then maybe the Warriors. I just can't see him leaving Cleveland again even though he already won them their title. Only other team I think theirs a chance he goes to is the Heat and that's not even very likely. It would also worsen his chances of winning another championship soon. The big three of Lebron, Wade, and Bosh were very good but Wades not getting any younger and is already 34. Bosh just missed a lot of last year due to blood clot issues. Of course they would still become instant favorites with Lebron back but would they be able to win the finals. I'd give it about a 20% chance he leaves the Cavs.

Who here thinks Boguts injury didn't hurt them?

That's a given and I'm sure everyone is aware of it.

The season he had was unbelievable though. Absolute assassin all season. He'll be back even better next year.
I hope so but he couldn't beat TT or Love off the dribble. Last year he beat TT a lot.

Maybe the Cavs figured something out and the rest of the league are going to catch on.

Maybe Curry peaked for his career during the regular season, especially the first half, and he won't be that player again.

Plus I think them coming back from 3-1 is just too special to leave it at that. He and Kyrie really clicked.
