    Spoiler

When we seen this Warriors team in 2013 knock off the #3 seeded Nuggets and then take the Spurs in 6 the next round, we all thought "Hmm ok, they're a nice, lil team on the come up. Def gotta keep an eye on them".

Then 2014 comes and they lose to the Clippers in 7 and fire their coach, we all are thinking "Man, they just flushed all their progress down the drain. They'll be fighting for the last playoff spot in the West or possibly out of it completely".

Fast forward 2 years later and we're looking at a team that 2 wins away from having a strong *** argument of being the greatest team in NBA History. Anybody that says they seen THIS coming, I call bull**** on.

I'm not saying all of this to excuse Bron BTW because he's had plenty of those over the years. I was just adding on to your 2nd point.
    To add to this..

The fact that a Klay Thompson and Kevin Love got into advanced conversation at one point...crazy how it all turns out...

Andrew Wiggins isn't good. At least not yet. I've never seen a player so overrated because of the team he was traded from.

There are no future plans when a player of Lebron's caliber agrees to spend the tail end of his prime on your team. You have to push the chips in the middle because there's next to zero chance you'll ever have anything as good as 29-32 yo Bron again. If it's a disaster 5 years down the road, so be it. You took your best shot with one of the best players of all time.

Love was being talked about as the best overall PF in the game along with Blake Griffin prior to the trade. IIRC, the Wolves had Love posting up, shooting 3s and he wasn't afraid to rebound.

Trade for him if you want but it was clear in Miami that LeBron has to be the predominant ball handler and table setter for his teams to win.

I think LeBron thinks that he needs these elite players to win it all (probably from his failures in his first stint with the Cavs).

He can't do it on his own for sure. But the type of players he plays with seems to be more important to me than who he plays with (elite or not).

Can't turn career-long ISO players into guys standing in the corners.
My thing with Wiggins is he doesn't help us on either side of the ball as of now.

When we traded for Love, we couldn't help but get excited with how Love, LBJ and Kyrie could mesh their games together, especially with LBJ and Love being solid passers at their positions, and Kyrie being a great scorer.

2 years later, Love is still mostly a spot up shooter, Kyrie goes through cycles of scoring PG and ballhog, and LBJ, while great, regressed with his shooting. Don't think anyone expected all that to happen.

Well definitely don't want this to be the Lebron thread part III

Clippers dont even deserve mention because they have an equal amount of dumb that matches their talent

Nobody knew the Warriors would be this

and LeBron going back to his ex after Miami gave him what he wanted wasn't an automatic win like he thought.

Just give me a good game 3 man, I agreed to host the game at my house, hopefully it's worth even having people over for...

Im sure it will be. Warriors bench aint super on the road like at home but they do have momentum.

The crowd should give the cavs some extra boost of energy

I can agree with the notion that no one saw the Warriors coming and they pretty much messed up LeBron's plans of winning more rings. He was 2-3 in the Finals when he came back to Cleveland. Honestly, the way this Cavs team is built can **** with the Spurs, Thunder, Rockets, Clippers, etc. The Warriors just came in and changed everything about basketball as we know it. Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving aren't going to be huge defensive liabilities against a LaMarcus Aldridge and Tony Parker like they are against whoever the Warriors throw out at that spot.

I haven't wanted to admit it because they took away from the legacy of my man but **** it...they're one of the best teams ever because they're nothing like we've ever seen before. They changed everything, look at how many teams are trying to build small ball now just because one team somehow assembled damn near perfect individual pieces to a complex puzzle.

I hated them and was in denial but after seeing the Cavs thrashed so badly and it wasn't even by their best two players...I can only appreciate. Can't hate anymore. I respect the hell out of them and what they've been able to do. I'll still say **** them until this series is inevitably over with a Cavs L...but man are they good. They managed to put dents into the legacies of Duncan, Durant, and LeBron among others. And no one saw it coming.

Thing is you can't beat golden state with a team built over night.

You can't beat any team with a team built overnight, with Boston in 2008 being the exception.

After coming back down 3-1 on a core that's been together going on 5 years, I don't know if it matters when you were built this year, lol

I don't get it, the Cavs have beat the East in their first year. They beat plenty of teams. They don't look like they have a shot at beating GS this year. If Lebron (big if) leaves again, same scenario will happen again.
