Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
Two Four you're all good in my book outside of being a Spurs fan lol but the quote nonsense is such a damn strawman argument. A game night in one long *** Finals thread can be upwards of 40 new pages of comments. You and OJ coming in here three days later playing the "who said that" game looking for specific quotes of stuff I know we've all seen happen during the course of a game/games is ridiculous. If you personally didn't say it or imply it, that's fine, but don't come in here and basically call everybody else liars because you know nobody is trying to go digging through 160 something pages worth of discussion looking for quotes from people we know were in here saying/implying more than simply "Kyrie/Love aren't playing well right now."
Idk, I think it's less what people actually post and more so the extremities of how people want to push their interpretation of the post.
I still remember a couple years ago when LeBron was having a good game and Wade was playing like ****, Bosh was playing like ****, the shooters weren't hitting, etc. just one of those nights.... Someone sarcastically made the comment "this is like Cleveland all over again".. You would have though someone said Joel Anthony was the next Bill Russell or something. Like he literally meant Wade and Bosh were Gibson and Gooden caliber players, when everyone knew damn well what he meant.. It's always like that when anybody says anything about a team LeBron is on though.
Like I've said in my replies already, there is no reason anyone shouldn't be able to criticize how some of these guys are playing right now, it's doesn't automatically equate to "LeBron is perfect he can do no wrong" and that is literally what some of you act like is being said.. We can talk changed roles, whatever all we want but the fact still stands that these two are all star level players, have played like all stars under these same roles and they just flat out aren't brining it right now and lack consistency needed for this team to win finals games right now. LeBron has gotten plenty of criticism in this thread as well, but of course that tidbit is ignored once anything about his teammates is said.
LeBron is leading his team in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks. Sure he's got room for improvement, but why wouldn't you expect more blame placed elsewhere when he's playing better than everyone else? It's simple logic, and like said before we wouldn't be having this conversation if it were another team/player to begin with.Comment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
24th wants specifics get it?
So king and pack went on a tangent about specifics
There are some other inside jokes thrown in between those. If you've been around you get the references
Main thing is Wwharton actually summed up alot of things he read in this very thread since the Finals started and 24 told him he needed to quote specifics, but wwharton was right though. I was even one of the ones who said lebron should've just stayed in miami jokingly, so I remembered that one easily.Comment

Going Cavs because I still think they can make this a series. Offensively, they will do a better job of moving the ball, and defensively they either scrap all the switching and/or stop over compensating to defend Curry and Thompson.
Really hope Love can go for game 3, kinda crazy how his situation played out, especially when the refs didnt even review the play.Comment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
Idk I picked GS in 6 before it started, now I'm just hoping the Cavs win a game so I don't have to see all the LeBron got swept **** that would follow lol. I didn't really feel like this was a great matchup for Cleveland before it started.

Not sure what they would have reviewed. Didn't he just catch a random elbow going for a board?Comment
