As best I can estimate it would only save OKC about $20m as opposed to $90m. So forget I posted that idea lol.

They were beasts offensively, but their defense was still trash, even if the flip was supposedly switched on.

It'd be great if Mr. Analytics signed Carmelo. Can't make up stuff like that.

I cannot believe this man is still employed. How much did he give that traffic come Ryan Anderson again? Plus, how can you rely on Eric Gordon and call yourself a good GM.

Lakers and Cavs net twitter followers day after LeBron signing announced:

And nah I wasn't one of 'em, don't really use twitter. I did subscribe to r/lakers and unsubscribed from r/clevelandcavs though

Haven’t heard any news on him. Not sure if he’ll even take what the lakers have left.

The only thing that's a disaster are these Laker hot takes you keep spewing. I couldn't disagree more with your last two.

The hawks could offer bazemore for melo and then we can eat up the rest of the salary with cap space. We then cut melo and he is free to sign with whoever and the thunder get a solid role playing wing off the bench

He already tried once... but im thinking

You iso your way outta the conference finals

Then you get another iso player to get back to the conference finals

                      Not getting the logic.

I don’t think the signings are a bad fit . Lakers have an interesting starting lineup

                        Ball/Rondo -KCP-Ingram/Kuz-Bron-McGhee

It’s just that they were next to last in three point FG % and FT% . They signed players who are just as bad at both lol .

We've been interested in Melo for the better part of 10 or so years with the thinking that surround him with teammates that do all the stuff he's weak at and things will work out (similarly to that year with Chauncey Billups where the Nuggets looked great). I'm past that stage and have been past that since 2012. Unless we are getting Melo for the minimum on a partially guaranteed contract I don't want him. He's not starting caliber anymore anyways and he's a black hole on offense that isn't even efficient at the thing he'd be signed for. Hard, hard pass.

Meh, I think Melo could redeem himself on a team like LA or HOU. Having 3 iso players, with one being a huge stad-padding ballhog was never going to work. Melo would thrive playing with CP3 or LeBron IMO.

For sure, but that was before OKC and before a huge chunk of fans/media felt the whole "Knicks situation was holding him back that he needs to be on a better team and surrounded by more talent" thing was disproven.
