Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
Of course so it's all about your boy as usual. Gotta fight the good fight even on some ridiculous **** like this. Woj is salty? About what? What's the "agenda" against LeBron. Come with some details. Come with some facts instead of this dumb *** speculation mess that you allegedly hate so much but have no problem wallowing in for your own purposes.
You can stop pretending like you give a **** about the Lakers too because if wasn't for your boy you wouldn't even be having this conversation about the ****ing Clippers of all teams in the first place. I also find it funny that YOU were the loudest voice in this whole forum 3 years ago not calling Kevin Durant a snake but flat out calling him a BITCH every chance you got for going to Golden State and just like the rest of the phonies and casuals you touted all this "competition" and ruining the league garbage for teaming up with them, but you're in here losing your **** about a reporter even suggesting the notion of the Clippers being a desired landing spot for Kawhi over teaming up with your boy and Davis in LA even though this would **** all over what GS did considering this would literally be the 3 top players at their positions, 3 defensive player of the year candidates every year in their primes teaming up to **** the entire league over for the next 2 seasons at least. It's just laughable at this point with the level of your hypocrisy on all fronts.
I ride with LeBron, so I ride with the Lakers for now. You can call me a fake fan, you can call me whatever you want, I really don't care; I'm rolling with them while LeBron is there, so I do care what happens with that squad. So for now, the Clippers are the enemy.
And you're right, LeBron/Kawhi/AD would be a stacked team but it's still not the same scenario with KD/Warriors and you know it, no matter what kind of spin you want to put on it. They'd be very thin ala the 2011 Heat. But as we saw this year, one injury can change everything. And realistically, the odds of Kawhi going to LAL are very low, so no need to get worked up over something that's likely not happening, as much as many Lakers fans would like to see it happen.Comment

I believe cima just enjoys reading himself a little bit too much and seems paranoid in many of his assertions. That said, the "Woj has it in for LeBron" is a thing has been pointed out before.

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
Warriors in "scramble mode" according to Windy
The Golden State Warriors hope to re-sign Kevin Durant in free agency, but they are approaching the situation in an amenable way in an attempt to not simply lose him for nothing.
"I think there's a couple of things in play here,"*said Brian Windhorst on Get Up. "I'm going to just be honest with you: my sense is that the Warriors are in a scramble mode to do anything that they can to either keep Kevin or not lose him for nothing.
"The last thing that the Warriors want is for him to just go sign with the Nets, or sign with the Knicks. So in addition to offering him the five-year contract and hoping he will either stay with them, or be willing to rehab with them and then be traded. The Warriors are wide open to considering sign-and-trade scenarios.
"Let's say Kevin wants to go to the Nets. They would love to do a sign-and-trade with the Nets. You might say what would they get back? They could get back a trade exception where you would get a $35 million, basically gift certificate that they could then use to go get other players, which they're going to need. They have no functional way to improve their team because they won't have salary cap space if he leaves. The Warriors really want to work alongside Kevin Durant.
"Now the Nets wouldn't really be incentivized, or the Knicks or the Clippers, so that might not end up happening."Comment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
Based off the Lakers fans I have seen in the Twitter mentions of well established NBA reports, they are dead serious.
The national media is out to get the Lakers aka “we don’t like what is being said about our team”.Comment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
Lmao. Hey guys, remember when Rob Pelinka didn't understand how the salary cap works? Good times, good times.
Just yesterday ESPN said the Lakers would have $19 million in cap room. And you wonder why Lakers fans have beef with these idiots?Last edited by cima; 06-27-2019, 01:24 PM.Comment

Wonder if the Lakers enter the Kemba sweepstakes? Playing alongside LBJ and Davis has to be more appealing, right?Comment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
He's not a bad consolation prize though but hell I think I'd probably take D'Lo over Kemba because of their age difference. Lakers need another star to continue alongside AD in a few years when Bron retires.Comment
