Wiseman is going to be raw AF in his first few years, which is why I don’t see them wasting Steph and Klay’s years trying to develop Wiseman.

If GS were to keep the pick and LaMelo is there, that's who I would take.

If they just want to grab someone that they think can play for them right away, maybe Tyrese Haliburton or Devin Vassell or something.

But LaMelo is the best talent in the draft IMO and I think he's perfect for the Warriors system.

Although salary wise, what could Wiggins + 2nd pick get them? Any chance Vucevic could be moved from Magic?

Vucevic on Warriors would be crazy.
He doesn't fit in my opinion. Need a rim or a defensive mind center. Who sets good screens. Shooter is nice. But they probably want a passer.

They don’t need a guard and Lamelo isn’t a good shooter. He’d be a terrible fit in GS.

They tried that with D’Angelo and shipped him out.

I’d take Wiseman easily. They’re not going to get a competent big in FA because of the cap.

In the best interest of the league I'd like to see LaMelo in Charlotte. I cant remember the last time I tuned into a Hornets game simply to watch a specific player. If nothing else LaMelo would bring some interest in Charlotte

Curious to see how COVID-19 impacts the salary cap, and what impact that has on the draft. Could see quite a few salary dumps on draft night.

You might even see a lot European picks that get locked up over there.

Yeah, uncertainty all over the map will impact the draft in a verity of ways.

Cavs go into next season with a core of Nance, Cedi, Sexton, KPJ, maybe an improved Garland, lets say Deni or Okungwu, maybe another top 5-6 draft pick, Love, and as of now at least 40 Mil in cap space after next year

They can use all that cap space to either just throw a ton of money at a star, or get a couple of good players like say Adams and Otto Porter Jr.

There's potential for the Cavs to have a good team again in the 22 season and beyond, they just gotta get it right on these next 2 picks with all that cap space they will have.

I think Wiseman is a waste of a top 10 pick personally but I understand teams probably won't feel that way.

LaMelo is all about ball-movement and creating turnovers on the defensive end. Perfect fit both ways for the Warriors IMO. Russell is the antithesis of LaMelo; a ball-stopper that doesn't do anything defensively. If his jumper comes along, which I think it might, that's just an added bonus IMO.

If Golden State keeps the pick, I think they’re more likely to draft Obi Toppin.

If the warriors were going to trade this pick I still don’t get why they traded Russell for Wiggins which is a worse contract. Also the draft pick they got now likely won’t be as good since I believe it was Minnesota’s pick.

If I’m Washington I’m not trading Beal for Wiggins and the 2nd. I mean what other all star type player is out their I mean nobody wants Wiggins contract.

Not necessarily true, he could have a similar impact to Ayton right away. If the Warriors find someone to fill in their Iggy role, then all of a sudden they are very similar to the 14-16 Warriors. With Steph and Klay out there, Wiseman could get plenty of easy looks and he's probably already the best C they've had on offense in Curry/Klay era

Ayton had a full year to build off of, with what he did at UA and even showed early on in his freshman season against meaningful comp that he could play 5 whenever he got into the Pros.

Wiseman hasn’t played meaningful ball in 2 years and we don’t have any thing to build from to see what his game will be like so that’s kind’ve an Apples to Oranges comparison.

Toppin would make more sense for them in that system with his versatility and as someone who could impact them right away even without the ball in his hands. Traditional bigs have never thrived in their system because they never had a use for them, which is why I don’t think Wiseman makes sense for them. He’d be better off in a situation like Charlotte.
