There have always been excuses given by PG. Even stats showed that his Pick and Roll % were higher than in OKC. He should have known choosing the Clippers that he was the #2 especially with a ball dominant Kawhi. Playoff/Pandemic P never shows up in the clutch.

That’s a good value for him and one they can easily trade down the line if need be. They need to find a way to get off Harris or have him approve. I also saw a video of Bol bol playing well in practic.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

Re: 2020 Offseason Thread
I still feel like Clippers should make a move to upgrade their PG spot. If last year showed anything, they surely lacked a true PG/Floor General. Pat Bev/Jackson isn't going to get the job done. Your top two facilitators can't be Kawhi and Lou Will. Pretty much was asking Kawhi to have a LeBron type of role. It doesn't need to be a top tier talent. It just needs to be a guy who understands what Ty Lue wants, knows game flow, knows where everyone needs to be, knows how to make everyone better, and holds players accountable. They need a PG who is a player coach.Comment

Cory Joseph (Kings) - Is he good anymore ?
George Hill (Thunder ) - I don't think he fits but likely gets traded
Terry Rozier (Hornets) - Also to much of a scorer

Re: 2020 Offseason Thread
If I was an owner of a team I would have barred my GM from drafting him. Maybe he will be a star in the league or even just a productive rotational player, but for me, regardless of his skill set, the injuries he's already had combined with a physiology that is a giant red flag for a short career made him a 100% do not draft player even in the second round.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Re: 2020 Offseason Thread
Yea they def need to that the pass first PG are hard to find. They should have made the move for Rubio he would have been perfect for them. He can't be traded for a few months now and overall I'm not seeing a lot of options till the season plays out. I'm sure i am missing some possible names.

Heck even Rondo, would have been a good option. Maybe DJ Augustin is a good veteran optionComment

Out of those options, Joseph might be the best option. With Haliburton there, Joseph is expendable. Ball is the best playmaker, but don't see him being traded and I don't think he's mentally the guy they need. There's a difference in being a pass first guy and being a floor general. They need a floor general.

White has the most PG skills or best, yet he's very similar to Landry Shamet, who the Clippers just traded way.

I really hope no one does either LA teams any favors to bolster their rosters. Of course, stupidity runs rampant, or poor decision making, in NBA front - offices so someone will always do the Lakers a "solid."

Re: 2020 Offseason Thread
So whats the beef with them and the clippers ?
No chance in hell the Spurs trade any of their/our guards to the Clippers. Also, all the guards (White, Walker IV, Mills, Murray, Johnson and Vassell) are combo guards or swingmen and there isn't a "true" PG amongst them.
White has the most PG skills or best, yet he's very similar to Landry Shamet, who the Clippers just traded way.

Re: 2020 Offseason Thread
Leonard & I doubt Pop wants to help either L.A. team (Lakers especially) add a player that could help get them a title.
Patty would be perfect on either Los Angeles team, but the Spurs would want to deal with either team & would ask for too much (1st round pick, I assume).
Even though he's a bit older (26 going on 27), White I think is in the team's long - term plans. He's a solid rotational player, who looked like he finally got over his passiveness on offense in the Bubble & has a stabilizing element to his game.

Re: 2020 Offseason Thread
I guess I'm one of the few who thinks Harden could modify his offensive game easily. Under D'Antoni he was encourage to do what he did, but I believe that under another offense/coach he could adapt to a different system.OSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment
