    Hilarious and true lmao.

I think he's at least worth taking on shot on, too much talent not to. If Gasol can still move well enough to be somewhat serviceable defensively, and Joker the way he's improved on that end, you almost have to at least snatch this guy up late in the 2nd.

If it doesn't work out who cares, most likely whoever else a team picks that late wasn't going to work out either.

My guess is he sneaks into the 12-15 range when it's all said and done. I think he's the type of prospect that teams that want to compete will fall in love with.

          If need be.

It would go against everything they’re trying to build. A guy who would bring nothing on offense for probably at least 2 years. Plays the same position as our current best player. Same position we spent on a Top 10 pick last year.

I don’t know where these guys get their intel. I’m just not buying it.

I mean have you ever seen/heard any bad tape from Garza?

Because he’s not flying to the lane and dunking all the time doesn’t mean he isn’t a top player.

The guy is fundamentally sound. Can play inside and outside. Midrange. Not the worst 9th or 10th guy in your rotation.

How would you describe what they’re trying to build? I feel like we get very little info from the team itself and have no idea what their plan is.

Yeah, I mean, it seems like the Knicks roster could still be in so much flux that it's hard to really base draft decisions around who is currently there IMO. At any rate, Garuba is definitely a Thibs type of player. I totally get that he doesn't necessarily make sense on a team that already has Randle, Toppin, and Robinson though.

I think he ends up being a little out of reach from the #19 spot either way.

If Frank Kamkinsky can hang around the league I would think Garza can too. Better passer, better BBIQ, likely a better 3PT shooter. A little slower than Frank, but they're both so slow the different probably doesn't matter lol.

But did he stop playing with ankle weights on?

Unless the front office thinks this past year was a fluke, you don’t take a developmental player to watch him grow.

I think they want to move up in the draft for someone who can contribute today. And maintain their future picks and cap space for 2022.

I don’t think he was slow because of weight. He’s slow because he’s incredibly awkward. I guess the football guys would describe him as lacking twitch.

Everything he did at the combine week looked forced. Like it wasn’t natural for him. He’s not fluid. Maybe that can develop over time.

Kevin O'Connor updated his mock today. I can't remember how it looked before but seems like there's a decent amount of movement.
