Even if he misses more than half of the games between now and when his contract expires, that still exceeds the production these two give the Wizards when healthy.Comment

Re: 2021-22 NBA Trade Deadline
The Pistons coveted Patrick Williams in the draft, but we got him 2 or 3 picks ahead of him, so any move for us to get Grant out of Detroit was going to have to include Williams and I certainly felt this whole time that Grant isn't the move to waste Williams if we were to ever move himComment

Re: 2021-22 NBA Trade Deadline
Yeah, I fully expect Simmons not to play that at WFC unless it is in the playoffs this year.
Yeah fit is a question for both teams. But, I will try to see the positives in both instead of focusing on winner or loser of deal. Ben can play his ideal style of play while also allowing KD not to have to defend the best guy. Hopefully Doc stops with the all Bench lineups. He needs to stagger Maxey and Harden as much as possible, while making sure one of at least Maxey, Harden, Harris, or Embiid is on the court at all times.
Say what you want about Drummond, but for a team that was the worst Rebounding team, losing him makes our Rebounding even worse. I don't want to count on Millsap as the Backup 5 and I doubt Doc is going to trust Bassey.
But before Curry started getting dinged up, he was the most consistent player of the team(before Joel started going off).Last edited by illwill10; 02-10-2022, 03:54 PM.Comment

Re: 2021-22 NBA Trade Deadline
This has trade deadline made me want to grab NBA League Pass. Then I saw it's only 50$ right now. Sold. Outside of the 76er/Nets trade I cant wait to see how the rest of the season unfolds with as many teams bunched within a few games of each other.

Re: 2021-22 NBA Trade Deadline
I'm not high on Simmons at all. I never thought he was worth the 76ers asking price. But Brooklyn is the ideal place for him. He's got two other stars that can receive the bulk of the attention. If the Nets fail to advance to the playoffs no one is going to blame it on Simmon's scoring. The pressure will be off him and he'll be able to play his game without feeling pressured to do more. Also love that the Nets got Drummond as well. They had the weakest frontcourt in the NBA and just getting a big body will help them.
Philly may have got better as well but they did so at the expense of strengthening another Eastern Conference rival and I have more questions on their fit than I do with the Nets.
Of course a lot hinges on Kyrie's status in home playoff games.Comment
