Yeah. There was one play where Marion COMPLETELY left Terry WIDE OPEN and he nailed that three. That one pissed the hell out of me. Too many easy shots, man.

It depends who you watched back in the day. The Pistons today are as physical as is allowed today just like the Bad Boys were. If you watched the Bullets you got soft play. You think what you saw tonight was physical? Come on Yosemite. If Dampier would have played a playoff game aginst the Bad Boys he would have retired the next day. All of the winning teams of the past were physical. The teams that have won in this decade were physical too in Detroit, LA, and SA. All I am saying is that just because you score doesnt mean you dont play d. Teams in the past did it, most teams today dont.

I'm talking about the 80's before the Pistons became champs. The game back then concentrated on offense and defense was just an afterthought much like the Suns are now. That's why the bad boys were so successful, they roughed teams up and defense came first and opponents weren't used to that style of play and it revolutionized the game. So yes I think the Suns are very similar to the pre bad boys era of basketball which they are being compared to often. I see many similarities between the Suns' play and the Lakers of the 80's.

All good man. Its good talking hoops with people on this forum. Did you see Dirk just now at the press conference. he was pissed and said they were stupid and had bad basketball IQ. he thought they should have won the series. Would have loved to be a fly on that Dallas locker room wall. Gotta hit the hay, later bro

I am getting sick of Dirk Nowitzki. Will he ever stop calling out people? I mean come on. It's not Jason Terry's fault that they lost the game. He had 36 points. But at the same time he didn't play well on defense. I just think that Nowitzki should just shut up.

Dirk is a good player, but he is a ****ing whiny baby. the way he bitched and yelled at Jt and josh howard on the court last night, and then tried to do it all himself at the beginning of the OT last night was the most dreadful attempt at leadership I have seen.

Im suprised one of his teamates didnt put him in his place.

I never claimed he was gonna get traded.I just said that I wouldn't surprise me.Maybe not this off season but the next.Especially if he can't make the finals in a few years with as much talent as they have on that team...

Dirk got mad at JT simply because he didn't MAN UP and play tight D on nash. instead he gave him 3 feet of space, bit for his fake, and nash drained the three in his eye.

SOme have it confused because they thought dirk was mad because he wanted to call a TO and have a play run for him. It' wasnt that at all though. Its the fact JT gave up a game-tieing three, when he shouldve been playing TIGHT man defense

Yeah but to an extent, weren't those some of the same exact things that were happenin to Dirk no matter who he was guardin? JT had to try and stop the MVP, which is a tough task for anybody. On the other hand, Dirk couldn't guard anybody on the court.

15 or so seconds left, they simply did not need a three to be attempted, bottonline. Let the MVP blow by you and let the helpside D help out. Even if it didnt help out, it couldve been two easy points.

I have to admit, it seems childish to attack a teammate like that, after the fact. everyones heads have to be in the game, and that mightve distracted many of the teammates

Oh I'm definitley not debatin the last few seconds. No way you give up a three.

And yes it is very childish to come at your teamates like that. When you do things like that, expect them to be very tight durin big situations because now they're scared if they screw up you're gonna go Latrell on 'em. Get in his ear, let him know it was a mistake but not in a way to belittle him. Plus, if you are gonna scream at him like that, make sure you don't make some of the same costly mistakes down the line.
