Good win by Boston tonight. There have been two match ups between these teams which have come down to the wire. Evenly matched, offensive rebounds were the X factor tonight for Boston. Big Baby had a great 4th quarter, and was the deciding factor for Boston.

Pistons need to gear up for the dangerous Texas swing through Dallas and SA.

I respect Flip Saunders' decision to go with Antonio McDyess for the last few minutes of the game against the Celtics, but there's no question in my mind that Jason Maxiell should've been on the floor instead. The Celtics had no answer for him throughout the game offensively, plus he would've done a better job of defending the basket area on those dump-off passes and layups from Glen Davis.

Ah well. Time for the Pistons to handle the always dangerous Texas two-step on back-to-back nights.

I've got to say that I'm pissed that the NBA moved the finals to a random weekend in January. Maybe I'm old school, but I liked them in the early summer where they were. Imaging my dissappointment after taking my wife out for a birthday dinner only to tune into Sportscenter only to see the Celts celebrating their NBA Championship. Pistons were damn lucky to even get to share the court with them.

Word. It reminded me of a few years back when I think it was Sacramento who won a playoff round and were celebrating like they won the Championship (Scott Pollard really sticks out in my mind). At least then though, it was the playoffs.

Well I guess it would have been tough to win both. They played awesome D on Parker and also did a great job on Duncan, although he got it going in the second half. Hopefully they can finish the trip strong.
