Pretty sure it had to do with D'Antonio's ego (re: vendetta against Nate Robinson).

Toney Douglas really showing what he could do out there. What was it, 13 straight points in the 4th? Crazy.

Thought it was 14 but anyway he plays both ends of the floor.

        Incredibly aggressive.

I thought this is exactly how he was projected coming out of FSU.

        Now watch D'Antoni take credit.

I dunno...early on in the season when Douglas and Hill got a few minutes here and there...they simply weren't THAT bad for them to end up at the end of the bench.

Agreed, Hill is probably happy as hell that he got out of NY. He deserved more PT.

D'Antoni seems to have a pole up his rear end pretty regularly. Gotta say I'm not a fan of the guy from what I've seen in nearly two years here.

This fool is really ticking me off with his lack of attention to defense, his alienating players, dumb comments to the media, and his unwillingness to make changes to the staff. Word gets around fast in the NBA - you think an A-list free agent wants to play for this clown?

Was at the Nuggets game last night.

For some reason it was like a playoff atmosphere.

Gallo's got some nuts. Went toe-to-toe with Melo. Shot for shot.

Our defense sucks. Gotta be a priority next year.

But it's not. "No-D" D'Anfoni has already stated he will not make changes to his staff. Arrogant jerk.

Hopefully we'll get LeBron and LeBron will say we need to play defense. Then we will play defense.

I'm starting to like D'Antoni less and less every day. The straw that broke the camel's back was the fact that he refused to play Douglas and now all of a sudden we see that he's 100x more useful than Doo-Doo Duhon was.

                        I like this scenario better.

Aye, just end the season already. The team doesn't give any effort on the defensive end of the floor. Utah shot 17-20 from the floor in the first quarter including 15 in a row at one point. Embarrassing.

Every coach looks bad with a roster like this. Everyone hated Larry Brown and thought he sucked, then he goes to the Bobcats and has done a good job. There's nobody who could get a roster like this, a roster with mostly bad defenders, and bad defenders who are just trying to put up stats to get a new contract, to play defense.
