Fight over. Tarver should get the decision, he clearly won the fight. What a crappy fight. All Roy did was taunt the whole fight, and throw one punch at a time. No combinations. I swear, if he would've thrown more, he would've won.

The man was so affriad to get knocked out, he didn't even attempt to fight tonite. Thank god I saw this at a bar, b/c if I paid to see this on PPV, I'd be one pissed off consumer.

Look, Roy Jones was matched up against one of the best fighters in the world tonight who's style poses a problem for RJ 10 years ago. He's been a cautious fighter ever since he saw a man die in the ring, and after getting knocked to near retirement two times over, he's even more gun shy. It's incredibly difficult to watch a guy with so much skill (still, even with the decline in speed) that could have won tonight...especially in the last 2 rounds when Tarver was spent. Am I pissed he didn't let it all hang out in the last 30 seconds...absolutely. Is he a b*tch because he faught a cautious fight hoping to get the decision on skill...absolutely NOT. It was the only strategy to employ.

Yup you are 200% correct. Point blank I think thier 2nd fight and this fight kinda proves that Tarver was robbed in that decision in the first fight. Tarver clearly won that 1st fight as well. It should be Tarver 3, Jones 0. Jones was a good boxer who fought 2nd rate and 3rd rate opponents..yes part of that is not his fault if his weight class has no real fighters for him to fight, but dont beat a bunch of 2nd rate boxers over a 13 year career and say you "da man". Dunking a basketball on a 7ft goal and telling everyone im the 2nd coming of MJ. The only two real people Jones ever fought beat him. Tarver beat him twice and to be honest I felt should have been 3 times, and Glen Johnson knocked his bitch azz out when they fought too. If Roy had fought real boxers over his career maybe he would have been able to handle Tarver and Johnson... but I dont feel sorry for Roy cuz went on and rode that ship people put him on as one of the greats when that was pure BS.. he knew it and thats why he didnt have much to say after the fight tonight. What Tarver and Johnson did is expose Roy for the not so great fighter that he's always been.

Yeah, not sure what Jones was doing. I think he was afraid of getting knocked out again. Clearly it looked like he could have won the fight if he wanted to.

Roy taunted Tarver most of the fight, and threw one punch at a time. Very few combinations. He didn't look bad, just unwilling to let his hands go. I swear, if he would've thrown more, he would've won. He's so afraid to hurt somebody. Roy showed no since of urgency when he was clearly losing in the later rounds. It's as if, he didn't want to win the fight. I saw no hunger from Roy. Tarver almost knocked him out in the 11th, but somehow Roy survived, and had an opportunity to knock Tarver out, because he basically punched himself out. But like I said, he didn't let his hands go. Tarver clearly won the fight.

I think Roy will fight again though.
