    MrMars Casual FNC Sliders

If you are an average to slightly below average player (like me) than these should provide a relatively sim style of play. You should beat who you are supposed to and have tough fights against who you should have tough fights with. If you improve or these get too easy you can decrease accuracy and counter window and increase offense and defense awareness.

Do you have the new patch and tuner?
Stamina at default 5 was pretty low so I don't even want to see the results that 0 would yield.
Accuracy at 0 would cause a lot of forced misses. That's why accuracy is defaulted at 9 instead of 5.
I'm not seeing much difference in the way that fighter fight after playing around with the punch output slider. That's why I decided to leave it at default 5.

      Thank you for the feedback.

After the last tuner, this is what I have been using......

        Difficulty: GREATEST OF ALL TIME
        Number of Rounds: 12
        Round Length: 2 MINUTES
        Saved By The Bell: None
        Three Knockdown Rule: NO
        Referee Foul Awareness: 5
        Referee Damage Awareness: 10
        Boxer Power: 6
        Boxer Speed: 5
        Boxer Physical Damage: 10
        Boxer Toughness: 6
        Boxer Accuracy: 9
        Boxer Stamina: 5
        Counter Punch Window: 5
CPU Offensive Awareness: 3/4 your choice, been using 3.
        CPU Defensive Awareness: 5
        CPU Punch Output: 5

Getting pretty realistic fights, seeing some 1 punch KO's and some TKO stoppages, but not an over the top amount. Most fights go pretty deep.

I've been using these in Lightweight Legacy, and have been having a blast. I'm currently (23-2-1). I didn't knock an opposing fighter out until my 7th professional fight. When I fought lower ranked opponents the total punching percentage was fairly high, but that tailed off once I starting fighter better fighters. Now I'm seeing myself and CPU landing a total of about 30 to 38% of our punches. I haven't seen any stoppages yet, but I've seen a lot of damage to both myself and the CPU fighters. I give these bad boys a thumbs up. Great work.

I've used these for 21 fights in legacy and they were great at first but I'm starting to get bummed out.

              1) There didn't seem to be much challenge going through "Club Fighter" status - every fight was: counter punch, cut opponent, rinse, repeat.

              2) The CPU percentages are just way too high. 60-65% is the norm for body shots. I started testing and it appears that there's some kind of "auto hit" logic going on because I've seen punches go right through my guard as if the animation just failed to recognize my gloves were in the way.

I honestly think this game is completely broken.

I tried the same Legacy fight over again using the above sliders. The guy was actually HARDER with these than with fistofrage's GOAT sliders.

                    He was MUCH harder, actually.

                      Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread

                      Parker,

I had a similar instance in my legacy. I went in with my normal strategy of trying to control distance with the jab, and look for counter opportunities, but this guy just came in and hit me with a 4 punch combo that floored me. The funny part is that I know I was blocking and it didn't matter. It was like this guy had heat seeking missles at tne end of his arms and there was nothing I could do about it.

I guess that happens in fights, guys just not able to whether an early storm from an opponent, but this seem so contrived, walking through a 15 rated jab, force misses for me... anyway i was done in the third.

This fighter ended up being the rubber match scenario in the legacy, so now I am sure it was contrived. I was able to beat him relatively easily the next two fights with him, I just didn't like how it was implimnented.

I want to figure out how to extend fights a little more and get more decisions. The extreme number of flash stuns and and KD's makes for an unrealistic situation where every fight ends in a KO. I will probably sacrifice any KO's if I lower power significantly.

I may give it a shot. Thanks for trying the sliders, I know you were one of the instrumental guys slider wise for FN4, any suggestions are appreciated.

Boxer speed 10? No offense dude but how can you play like that? The default boxer speed is pretty fast, but at 10 every boxer looks like Flash. You can't even see the punches because they are even faster than the speed of light

6 for Boxer Speed seems good for me. Nice balance between the fast, the average and the slow e.g. Muhammad Ali > Eddie Chambers > Vitali Klitschko > Sonny Liston.
