      Lubin-Cota
if they can add dawson-fonfara to the tv undercard too, that would be the best free tv telecast in quite some time....even better than some recent ppv undercards.

I'm not sure 147 is the right place for Matthysse to come back at. Perhaps he can't make 140 any more?

I'm not even going to dignify the stupid Mayweather-MacGregor 'fight' with a response...although I guess I just did, but I refuse to treat this as anything but the con job that it is.

and quite a con job it will be....why floyd wouldn't go for a manny rematch (or garcia-thurman winner) and jumps at this is beyond me. if floyd loses, biggest upset in boxing history. if floyd doesn't knock conor out, that makes him look really bad too but floyd doesn't go for knockouts. we all know that. so you pay to see him run from someone who has never even boxed professionally?

So forgive me if I'm late to this but. Has there been any discipline for Angel Garcia for his conduct in that January press conference? I just watched it yesterday and its clear he is completely unhinged.

Unacceptable comments and terrible excuses. He should be banned from corner work for at least a year, and permanently banned if he tries that crap again.

Completely ridiculous. I like Danny too. Definitely can tell that his personality is from his mom lol. Now I do hope Thurman can knock him out. If only it was his pops fight. Gonna be good though. Looking forward to it.

It seems Chavez Jr may actually be training for his bout with Yellow.

God, I hope this is true. And I'm praying that he can channel his inner Buster Douglas and beats Yellow.
If he's able to get to 164.5 without losing strength, this is a very, very competitive fight.
I don't think Yellow's big enough or hits hard enough to stop JR.

this really is a make or break fight for junior...beating canelo can certainly resurrect his career. he has absolutely nothing to lose since they are banking on junior having trouble making weight and not being a real threat. however, interesting they jump at this fight at a catch weight of 164.5 rather than 160 for GGG. junior may have an edge in power if he is in great shape and makes weight easily.

Don't get me started on the hypocrisy of DLH and Yellow.
They've been crying that he's not a true MW yet and suddenly he jumps up 10lbs to fight JR?
I know why DLH is protecting his golden goose, but Yellow deserves a lot of flack as well.
DLH didn't duck anyone and demanded his manager get him the biggest fights no matter what.
Why hasn't Yellow done the same? Because he's scared to death of Triple-G.

I hope JR kicks the crap out of him forcing he and DLH to come running to Golovkin and beg for a fight.
If that happens and I'm Golovkin, I tell both of those nancy's to pound salt.

Yep, "Yellow" (love that Money99 btw) has me doing something I never thought I would do, and that is cheer for Chavez Jr....I think the reason he is actually training for this fight is the inherent danger in entering the ring against a man that can hit as hard as Yellow can when he sits on punches.

Agree w/ just about all the posts on here so far. And despite his numerous displays that he simply doesn't give a flying f#*&, I'm still oddly intrigued by Jr. Chavez as a fighter. I think I'm just seeing more than is there in certain glimpses (i.e. how he was about 10-seconds away from knocking out Sergio Martinez), but if he actually exerted himself, I keep thinking he could be a really good fighter.

Personally, I'm un-ambiguously rooting for JCC-Jr in this fight, at least in part because of my utter contempt for Canelo's machismo. I think the boxing world just gets more interesting if Canelo HAS to make a fight after this bout to remain relevant, vs. just being allowed to cruise on hand-picked matchups against guys half his size on fight night for the rest of his career.

JCC-Jr is definitely going to be hit a lot in this fight (as he is in all his fights, frankly). But he's been in with some pretty hellecaious punchers and has really only been floored by Andrzej Fonfara, who is a true light heavyweight and can hit pretty damn hard. I think he'll respect Canelo's punching power - rightfully so - but if he's still walking through Alvarez' best stuff by the later rounds, I think that could be a very interesting finish.

i like canelo but i'll be rooting for junior just for the underdog factor and to spoil DLH losing big money on a GGG fight that should have already happened...in a strange way, it could be a tune-up for GGG since junior is a naturally bigger man and it will gauge if canelo's power will be effective against him.
