It seemed like Andy was more willing to engage when AJ fumbled a bit on the clinches. I believe for the most part he was effectively neutralized by the jab and fearful enough of Joshua's right to fight only in infrequent spurts. Point taken about his conditioning but we will only know for sure if they get a rubber match and Andy is in shape.

Excited for Usman vs Covington. Really want colby to win in this ufc fight and try to lure gsp out of retirement by bashing george/canada/tristar/trudeau etc. It would be incredibly transparent, but still entertain me. And georges likes being the good guy. Might just do it. Will there be a chest wrap at work to accept the take down. I would say Colby decision, Max by TKO - GDR - Amanda by Sub what's your predictions.

Whew great shot was right..they both threw at the same time but lopez got there first..Commey did not take shots well last night he was unsteady and got hurt several times the first rd..now I liked that Crawford dug down and won..but im starting to see some tell tale signs of slippage..his balance is way off and he is starting to get hit and hurt with clean shots..I noticed his last three fights he is leaning forward to nuch and getting hit..he also is getting more and more stationary..but he is still the top welterweight but I think that fight with Porter is going to be a a war..he gets hit and porter smothers punches..as far as teo vs lomo lomo beats him on quickness and iq but will have 2 dramatic moments in the fight..he beats lopez by decision

I didn't think he was that hurt. Whether it should have been "technically a knockdown" I'm not sure.

His excuse for getting well tagged a few times? "I wanna give the fans a show." LOL.

              Definitely want to see Bud-Porter.

LOl thats usually the way its said by boxers who start getting hit..He wobbled when he got hit, he lunged forward to tie up and fell to a knee..I dont think he was badly hurt but he was definitely buzzed several times during the fight..When they start saying I wanted to give the fans a show so I stayed stationary its a code that I cant move and get out of the way of shots like I used to...He still has world class reflexes but it's a slight dip in balance that m seeing and he is starting to throw punches off of bad angles..but he has enough to beat the top welters including Porter and Spence who I also think is starting to regress because of his discipline..

Good fight... Only for a millisecond did I think Crawford was in any serious trouble.

That being said Kavaliauskas (yeah, I copied and pasted) put up some good resistance.

Actually wouldn't surprise me if Teo knocks Loma out. He is a very big and strong lightweight. He has that kind of power....it only takes one, and Loma has shown he is capable of getting hit. I'm totally stoked for this fight

Yeah, factor in four years ago Lomo was fighting as a featherweight so Teo is naturally bigger. I'm pumped for this potential matchup but I'd be surprised by any sort of victory for Teo.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. misses weight, will lose $1 million

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. weighed in at 172.7 pounds -- nearly five pounds over the super middleweight division limit -- for his fight against Daniel Jacobs on Friday. As a result, Chavez will forfeit $1 million of his roughly $3 million purse to Jacobs.

Time for Chavez Jr to hang it up. Time to stop embarrassing himself. Time to quit disrespecting the sport of boxing.

I agree but as long as they keep.paying him millions because of his last name ,and letting him skirt the ped rules and testing he will keep on doing this...sad part is he had a little talent but has squandered it because of drugs no discipline and a propensity to quit when the going gets tough..

I swear if tony harrison ever gets past the mental roadblock he gets after the 9th rd he would be a solid champ..he fought a great fight throwing hard shots until the 9th rd then its like he thinks im about to get knocked out..I had him winning big until.he stsrted getting lax and playing around..he had charlo for the taking but certain boxers never develop that confidence despite how much he talks...
